My family is originally from Port Jervis and some are buried in the cemetery by Tri States rock. It is a pleasant spot, scenic even with the interstate almost directly overhead. There is a history to it if you take the time, the border between NY & NJ changed at one point. I first saw the rock maybe 60 years ago and it has had good time and bad. It is much better maintained since the Interstate came through. Fun for kids all ages to stand in three states at the same time.

It was a fun thing to take our picture standing up on the rock. The parking area is right under Route 84, which is undergoing major reconstruction which was nice to be able to observe from below. The cemetery has a mix of very old and new grave sites, if you are interested in that.

Guess it was nice to be able to step on 3 states at one time. Easy to get to- nice spot to take photos. Would really be nice when leaves start changing color.

Nothing special here, just a flat stone marked with the 3 states borders. You have to drive through a really cool cemetery to get here and park under the I-84 overpass. It was worth the trip just to be here and I went out of my way to bring my wife.

Scenic drive through the cemetery, check out some historic, old tombstones and arrive at 'the rock'. Use to go fishing here with my father-in-law and jump off some nearby small cliffs into the river on the right (Delaware). Watched when I-84 bridge was being built years ago while riding my bike on the unfinished interstate in early 70's. Love this area!

The Tri-states rock is at the edge of the Delaware. One side the Minisi River meets the Delaware River. The cemetery is beautiful and the river is beautiful. Great history even though it is now under the I-84 bridge

This is a nice place to visit just to see where the three states of NY, NJ and PA meet on the Delaware River! You have to drive down through the historic Laurel Grove Cemetery. Good place to fish! Don't forget to get a fishing license!

Tri-state rock is located in southwest end of old Port Jervis cemetery, near highway bridge connecting New Jersey and Pennsylvania. It's a fun place to visit, just to claim you've been in 3 states simultaneously. You can make it a part of a visit to Port Jervis, an old railroad town, with plenty artifacts left from old times.Or, you can venture farther south and take on Lenape Ridge - a short hike with rewarding views
