Came here for drinks before my flight out of JFK. Bartender was friendly with decent selection of beer on tap. Nothing special about the food and a very local hangout. Located along the canal with outdoor seating which I'm sure must be pleasant view during the warmer months.

For those staying at JFK airport hotels, this little place was a great find. It's a short walk from the Holiday Inn and I'm glad I went. Food was excellent with nice choices and pricing was well positioned meaning you're not getting killed here on a business expense account. The staff is friendly and helpful and a nice change from the overpriced chain program that isn't always very good! Worth the try. I understand the locals have voices and they should I do it where I live. But being an outsider on a business trip, this was worth the time.

They are on the canal, and we usually go by boat. Food has been going downhill while prices rise every year. Just there and the shrimp rolls were greasy and cold, the onion soup too salty and the nachos were soggy and also cold. No return this season. Sorry!
