Iron Kettle Farm in October is Tioga County's busiest place. The pumpkin farm, food, corn maze and kiddy rides keep it hopping all month long- especially on weekends.

Originally from NJ and always had wonderful garden centers but since moving to upstate PA we were having a hard time finding one here. But came upon Iron Kettle Farm. Fantastic place, great variety and healthy plants. A little pricey on some items but comparing prices will help get the good buys.

Our kids are too old now, but we used to love going there. It gets crowded. The food lines move pretty quickly and the prices are reasonable. It is a nice time for a young family.

They always do a great job of 'dressing up' the pumpkins in character costume - from the Three Blind Mice to Beauty and the Beast. Always a lot of fun. Checking out the farm animals is also kid-friendly - made more so if you spring for a handful of pellets to feed 'em.

Hope you have deep pockets if you are planning to visit. We usually go every year but after this last visit we will not be going back. A decent size pumpkin from Walmart priced at $5 will cost you $20 at the iron kettle.. There are lots of fun rides for the kids but other than that it's not worth spending $5 for a basket of fries or $3 for a tiny cup of Apple cider. After leaving there I stopped at farm on the side of the road and bought a huge pumpkin for $5 and 10 regular sized pumpkins for $1 each, $15 total for 11 pumpkins!

We love going here. We have come since we were children. It is exactly as we remember but with improvements...BUT...the corn maze and haunted house do not open until noon during the week and we were not able to try them as we were there before noon...very disappointing. The staff seemed tired and the season is just beginning. This is a happy place and one would think the staff would be a bit more perky to say the least. We still highly recommend that you give Iron Kettle a chance as there are great photo opportunities and a chance to make some fun outdoor memories with the kids.

We had a great time with our one year old nephew. The pumpkin scenes are really cute and creative and the activities, like the corn maze, petting zoo, and the hayride are always fun.

We go here as a family each year. Love this place. Good price for pumpkins and fall squash. The kids have fun on the rides.

My kids have always enjoyed visiting and viewing all the pumpkin decorations. This has become an annual event for us. Highly recommend visiting.

Pumpkins, pies, hayrides, donuts, a great country store....lots of goats and chickens....what more could you ask for in the fall?

Took my Daughter here for a Mommy and Kid's group play date. We went on Oct 15, 2012. Although it was a Monday, there weren't all the attractions open (Ex: Go carts...etc- probably open on weekend when it's more busy)It's Free to visit this farm, how ever, if you do tractor ride$2pp, maze, go carts..etc...you pay for each individual or you can purchase a bundle ticket package....They have picnic area's to rest and eat lunch....(Food stand sold, Apple Cider $3, Hot Dogs $2, Pumpkin pie $2.50...I might pack lunches next time we visit).....Probably in the summer, when you can pick your own Strawberries...YumYou can feed the animals ($0.25 per handful out of the machine)...You can't feed them out of your hand...you just drop it into a funnel and it goes into there bucket!.....Overall my little one loved it!

This is a wonderful place to bring your family! We have brought the kids here every Columbus Day weekend for the past 4 years and it has never been a disappointment. The kids activities from the Corn Maze to the Pumpkin Slingshot are very engaging and the Hay Ride is lengthy and a satisfying ride through a collection of characters and town motifs. 5he only downside is that it is a little on the pricey side with $15 per wristband or $1.25 per ticket with the average ride at 2 tickets. Food is also limited and expensive, but hey, we don't come to eat. All in all, we love this place!

A family business where their guests are treated like royalty! An amazing amount of work goes into their fall displays - take your camera! Could get lost in that gift shop for a whole day.

great idea! way too busy. small farm fun doesnt make sense when there is hundreds of people elbow to elbow. first visited around 10 years ago, congrats on all the success. Many great memories!

We go there yearly around Halloween. Its great for Kids and Adults. During the off season, they have a Pick-It-Yourself farm setup.
