I had the chance to enjoy several samples of the different offerings (Bourbon, Whiskey, Vodka, and Gin) at a special event held at the distillery. Needless to say, the products blew me away. The white whiskey was the most surprising, as it does not have the traditional "burn" of most corn whiskeys. We toured the facility and I was amazed by the attention to detail and the hands-on work that goes into every bottle.I have witnessed several business come and go from this location, and I think that Utica found the perfect fit with the ADK Distilling Company!

I was given a bottle of Adirondack Vodka as a gift and fell in love with its smooth, clean taste. This past summer my husband and I were vacationing in New York state. One rainy day we decided to to try and find the distillery in Utica. Very easy task and once there were were enthralled with the cool old building they transformed for their operation. One of the owners was there and offered to give us a tour, which was very very cool. We saw everything from the making of the product to the packaging and shipping. We learned that they use Herkimer diamonds to filter the vodka (or the water, I forget). Herkimer is another great place to visit in NY for its diamond mines. The tour was definitely a highlight of our trip. ADK Distillery is a gem!

The Atmosphere in this distillery was delightful, and entertaining! They have a great little tour and I throughly enjoyed the Tasting portion. Everyone of the employees knew their stuff and My family learned a lot about distilling. Everything they do is focused on being local and its great to see a local Distillery and a local Brewery thriving in Utica.
