We attended the West Point Holiday Show on a Saturday and Sunday with family, and we really enjoyed the performances. The Army Band, conductor and lead singer were first class, the USMA Hellcats were incredible, and the Broadway singers were good. The Eisenhower Hall was a perfect venue for this event. The seating was comfortable and acoustics were good. This particular show featured broadway-style lighting, which was carried off nicely. The lobby of the Eisenhower Hall is also filled with sculptures, photos and historic artifacts of West Point and, of course, President Eisenhower. It's worth the time to walk around the two-story lobby and entry area to view this grand and historic hall.We look forward to any event we can attend at the Eisenhower Hall Theater.

Friends and I attended the Sunday show. We were blown away by the performance! The band alone is amazing, but when you add Mary Kay singing, Broadway singers, Mike Bennett from Whud and the Hellcats?!? Well you get quite a show! I can not believe it was free! Eisenhower Hall was a beautiful venue to ring in the Christmas Season! So much history, makes watching the classics be performed even more magical!

Wonderful theatre - great seating, comfortable, great sight lines and sensational sound! Would look forward to going back for a theatrical performance sometime in the future.

Picture arriving at a venue that overlooks some of the best views of the Hudson River valley as the sun sets before going into one of the largest theaters in this area to see a performance many pay $100 or more to see in NYC for nearly half that rate. That is what our experience was like just before the evening performance. This is a gem of a bargain for the local residents and tourists. There are some problems. Arrive at least an hour before the performance to clear security checks. Arrive earlier for better parking. Parking is scarce near the theater. Even the handicap spots fill up early. Most vehicles park downhill or above on the main roads and other lots. Walking can take up to 15 minutes to the box office. There are buses to transport the crowds to the lower parking lots.If you do arrive extra early you can take a tour of the nearby West Point Museum; call for daily schedule, outside the Thayer Gate and the historic Thayer Hotel just inside the same gate. Once parked at the theater you can stroll over to Trophy Point showing off historical cannons and more views of the Hudson River valley.

The theater itself is nice, spacious for a small theater and everything was very clean but parking is not clearly marked and is sporadically placed throughout the campus. If you want to go to the buffet before a performance you need to make reservations at least two weeks before. Ike's cafe is basic cafeteria food premade burgers, fries, salads, and a small section of rotating offerings of pasta and meats. The campus itself is beautiful with a great view of the hudson river especially from the balcony at Ike's cafe. We went to see a comedy show and felt the performance was good but short compared to other venues. They insist you get to the venue 90 minutes early and while you can walk around 90 minutes is very early however if we did not get there that early we would have been unable to find parking. Our comedian had a warm up guy who was good and out for 5 to 15 minutes and then he was on stage for maybe 45 minutes where at other venues we have been to we see them for between 2-3 hours for a show. I heard the concerts are good but they are shorter than other venues as well. I assume this is because the ticket prices are lower. I have not seen a Broadway show there but would assume that the story line is the same length as a regular show so that may be the better deal. They have Anything Goes coming up at this location. It's nice and clean but having to be there 90 minutes early gets a little boring and parking being so difficult and widely spaced is not inviting. They do have some shuttle uses but they have no signs indicating where you can park and where those shuttle buses are located or the times they go back and forth. Overall it's still nice and the cadets that were there provided excellent service. Just be prepared for shorter show times.

It amazes me that West Point gets Broadway show at Eisenhower hall. Why go to Broadway when Broadway comes to such a beautiful and magnificent setting.

It is easy to forget how close you are to NYC, when you don't need to travel there to see Broadway worthy performances at 'Ike Hall'. Follow their website and see what great shows they are offering this season. I have seen Wicked, Annie, Vince Gill, Trace Atkins, Billy Joel, and several other fabulous acts here! Parking can be a hassle, so plan time for that. You can drop off anyone who has trouble walking on hills/ uneven terrain underneath the hall.

We saw Spamalot and Celtic Crossroads. Ticket prices are far better than midtown and the seats are great.

The theater is wonderful...there are orchestra and balcony seats. The performance was Broadway quality. The only down side is parking is very scarce and if you don't get there early enough, you will be walking quite a distance to get to the theater. My advice is to arrive at least an hour before the show. Besides the parking issue, to get on West Point grounds, you have to pass through security and show ID. The lines to get through security can be long prior to a show.

We saw a show at the theater...not a bad seat in the place. Parking & traffic were also not a huge issue which is helpful when taking in a show. Do keep in mind that this is on a military installation so everyone must show ID if they are over 16.

Went here to see Toby Keith and the Theater was an awesome place to come to. All seats are very good and the shows they put on are excellent. I would say GO here if you can. You will enjoy it.

Over the years Ike Hall has presented a host of different stage events. The cost of the tickets are reasonable and include free parking. Two restaurants are on location. Check for hours. there are renovations going on at this time. In addition to the regular season there are free performances presented by the US Military band and orchestra. Check with the US Military Academy website usma.edu/band for musical performance events.

Theater is wonderful. But, if you want decent parking, you have to get there a few hours early. Also, it is a nightmare to get out of West Point.

VetTraveler56

A huge theater and stage, one of the largest on the East Coast. The building is wonderful, the shows are top quality, tickets are often available to the public and the view of the Hudson River is unmatched.

Incredible venue and facility for shows. They DO have Broadway tours come through here - and every seat is just fine. The only drawback is that there is no method (perhaps only madness?) to the parking challenges - There is none to speak of - and when you do find a place amongst a a variety of spread out areas there is one (albeit very friendly) shuttle driver with a small bus.
