My husband and I stopped in for a flight of ciders on a Saturday afternoon. We each enjoyed the four ciders (4 oz of each) and a nice plate of crackers, delicious cheese, grapes, and crisp apple slices. It was a nice way to unwind. They have about nine bar stools inside and a number of tables and chairs outside for nice weather. On tap ciders are also available by the pint. Growlers and individual bottles are also available for purchase to take home your new favorites. Tours are available by appointment only. I recommend Nine Pin for couple and friends for quick stops, or longer times hanging outside when the weather is nice, or for picking up your favorite ciders if you in the area.

Went here recently to try the locally made cider and it's pretty darn good! It's a small tasting room and you can get a flight of their four basic ciders to try or order by the glass. We tried a flight that included their 'signature' nine pin cider, a blueberry cider, and then two other drier ciders. I don't recall the names of each but the signature cider was fantastic. The blueberry had a pink color and tasted a little sweet and was also very good. The drier ciders were not really my style, but one was still quite good. All were superior to others I've had including Angry Orchard (WAY better than Angry Orchard) and woodchuck. Strongbow is the closest to this cider, but still not as good. You can purchase by the bottle or growler as well and the prices seemed pretty reasonable.I would highly recommend the signature cider and that anyone go in and give it a try. It's the first New York cidery and is a great new local business.

There are not very many cider works out there that you actually can (or would want to) visit. This one opened up in Albany recently and provides an excellent selection of ciders made from local ingredients. When I went, they had 4 ciders on tap, of which the signature cider was by far my favorite (dry and crisp). Their wild fermentation was also quite good, while my wife preferred the blueberry cider to both of those (fruity and dry).A flight of cider is $7, so you can try whatever they currently have on tap. They also will give tours by appointment. Ciders are sold by the bottle, glass, or in refillable growlers. The staff were very friendly & helpful in explaining each cider, how they are made, and what to look for when tasting them.Parking can be rough around here, we had to get creative in order to find a spot nearby, but this was completely worth the effort!
