This beautiful old church is situated on the ocean. Went to visit on a spectacular summer day. The ocean views were breathtaking. There is also a beautiful flower garden. For the photographer there are amazing vistas and compelling architecture from which to compose your shots! Have fun!
Can't say enough. The church gave me "goose bumps" when the organ played. It was spectacular. It brought me to tears....... A special moment.
Will be attending family wedding there in the fall ... bride to be wanted us to see the beautiful chapel and altar near the water. It will be a lovely wedding.
Don't miss the stained glass window inset with real scallop shells as panes in the design. Beautiful little rustic stone Episcopal church in a glorious setting right on the sea, with services held on an expansive lawn overlooking lobster fishermen in fair weather.
We certainly enjoyed our time visiting this beautiful church. It was located on Ocean Avenue as you get near Walker's Point.
I dont give something a 5 lightly. Attened a family wedding in outside chapel. The pictures dont do it justice. Just awesome sight.
We arrived at the Church to find the gates padlocked on both days of our visit. So I can only rate the experience as poor as we could not view this place
Where the Bush Family attends church when they are in town. Very quaint and most interesting architecture! Just down the road on the way into town from the Cape Arundel area.
Just beautiful! This is a gorgeous old church right on the sea. So peaceful. We lingered here for quite a while and took many pictures.
I'm not normally a church fan, but what a great building, built our of large rounded stones. It's also a great coastal location with good views back to Kennebunk beach.
Just a nice walk out of town and on the sea front. Lovely old church with lots of history attached toit and easy to read. Nice place to take a bit of time out from a busy travelling schedule.
It sits right on a cliff and it's made of stone. inside the church was so beautiful and the views were breathtaking.
When we got into town it was close to sundown. We'd hope to see George Bush's home, but there was really thick fog. We went back in the morning and it was beautiful. A caretaker of the church was there and told us that the Oakridge Boys had stopped on their way to perform for Bush. He also showed a picture on his phone from when Bush skydived for his 90th birthday. As we were leaving, 8 restored antique cars drove up.
We arrived soon after Sunday services had concluded. The view of the Maine coast from the parking area is very calming. The church is built from stone. The inside of the church has the stone interior walls. The stone exterior and interior adds character to the building and making it unusual. Plenty of stained glass windows to view. The landscaping is nicely done and well kept. Enjoyed walking in the church and the grounds.
We got to Saint Ann's on a Sunday just after the church service had ended. This is a beautiful church with many stained glass windows. We were able to go inside the church and take pictures. The area also allows you to take pictures of Kennebunkport just across the water. It's a very enjoyable place to watch the birds and sailboats.
