The cars this gentleman has is amazing, too many to mention. If you love old cars I highly recommend this place.
don't bother going. in fact, not sure it's even open anymore! when it was open, small and only a few vehicles there. it is next to a great steakhouse, however!
A great display of old cars and trucks! We also enjoyed the many of the oldies coin games and films, and a bargain at .10 to .25 for each.
Lots of cars to see. cool trinkets to buy. Really innexpensive fun and educational. I would suggest it to people of all ages.
Brought my father in law here for a break, it was a nice stop the kid working was pretty knowlegable about everything and new the area well. Worth the trip to kill an hour or two.
They have a large collection of old autos....even the original "ski-mobile" that doctors used to get around in the winter.
They have old fashioned coin operated rides/games in the lobby that my kids love. Clean place, plenty of free parking
Other than the usual cars (mostly older ones like model T's etc.) they also have an assortment of other things. There are lg. music boxes, arcade type games and old pinball machines that you can play for money. This is unique and not seen at very many places. The worker there said he didn't know how much longer the place would be open because the original owner died and the estate was being split up. They are only open a few days a week-check ahead before going. The admission of $7.00 is reasonable.
We have driven by here many times but the museum was always closed, so very happy to finally be able to go inside. They have about 70 cars, some old bikes & cool nickleodeons that still work. great to do on a rainy day in Wells.
family friendly worth the visit. Lots of old cars- rare cars. Great to show your kids cars from the "good old days".
great for kids have seen better auto museums but this one is ok for maine
Interesting to see all the old cars and motorcycles, kids enjoyed it too.
Even if you don't know a piston from a piton, this museum is still fun. Just to see how our "rides" have changed is eye opening.
It was fun, fun, fun 'til your daddy took your TBird away. Well get down to the Wells Auto Museum and take a look at the old and odd autos there. I particularly like the Bug Eye Sprite...
We were fooled by the outside appearance. But. we went inside & took the tour. A whole lot of antique cars. Amazing they fit everything they had inside. For a piece of nostalgia you must visit.
