The owners are true experts! The book section was fantastic and interesting..a huge selection. The collection of pottery and art work was unusual and historical. I enjoyed the table top collection, and the lesson on hand made sterling flatware. The owners are true Kentucky women. This shop is a must see for travelers to the area!

Even though this lovely shop features a good variety of primitives, glass, etc., I was charmed by the Kentucky Pottery and the owner's knowledge about it. I have probably discovered a new passion to add to my collector's curiousity.

The quality of goods on offer here is markedly superior to many Bluegrass shops that sell cheap dustcatchers and nostalgia items. The Laytons are particularly knowledgable and also have plenty of horse racing related items in the mix.
