walking bridge

Very nicely done! Park on the IN side was still under construction but appeared to be at the end of the project. Refreshing little walk. Nice to see folks out biking and walking. Appeared to be rental "family size" rental bikes that some were riding.

This bridge was used for trains long ago and just recently was fully completed. It connects both on the Kentucky side and more recently, the Indiana side. On a hot summer day, it feels good to walk and/or run on the bridge with the cool breezes. There is plenty of room for walkers, runners, bikers, sightseers, etc. They have little peddle cars you can rent and take up on the bridge as well, which they look really fun! If you are near downtown Louisville, I highly suggest going to the bridge and taking a picture with downtown in the background.

We have rode bikes and walked the bridge. This is a fun place. Great water park for little kids and I think it is free. You can also rent bikes at the bottom of the bridge. Great way to exercise and not think about it too much.
