Fished 1/2 day with Rob. The Yellowstone was high and muddy from rain, so we fished the De Put spring creek. Caught a number of brown and cut throat trout. Rob knew so much about the stream and what to offer these very selective fish. He is very congenial, offering instruction when needed or requested. Overall, a great experience!

My family and I went on a full-day float down Yellowstone River with Rob in the role of an additional guide for a fly shop. We found Rob to be courteous, conversational, insightful, a good teacher, skilled drift boat pilot and, especially, someone who knows how to catch fish. Rob's a very smart guy and tells great stories, also. Finally, he even taught me a new way to tie clinch knots with forceps that's very fast and a flyfishing game-changer. Highest recommendation.
