the tour of the museum made the whole Livingston experience much better. You get a sense of the history of the place and more of an appreciation of the area and its background. It was a fascinating place.

Located on the north side in an old remodeled school, this museum has oodles of exhibits and info about the history of Livingston and the surrounding area.

Yellowstone Gateway is open and airy with a view out to the Roosevelt Arch. The exhibits were well-done and the staff were friendly and informative.

We were very pleased with our visit to this museum. The exhibits were very thorough and interesting. It is in an old school house and there are a lot of stairs to take to be able to view everything. It is worth the effort to go through the whole thing. After you finish the inside they have an outside exhibit of transportation devices, such as a conestoga wagon, sheepherders wagon, carriages, fire trucks, and other interesting things. A reproduction of a school house is also outside. We would recommend taking at least an hour or two to fully appreciate it all.
