Very disappointed in the cost of the tickets and the service from the staff to find your seat also very disappointed in vendors who serve food cold food disgusting servers didn't really care pretty sad
Metra Park is a good place for trade shows, however more signage is needed for loading and unloading areas.
The prices for everything at this facility continues to go up while big name concerts goes down. It's a shame when Great Falls and Missoula attract big names including Paul McCartney. Overly priced concessions and lack of planning makes the Metra lack luster.
The concert we went to was full of SCREAMING girls so even when we found our seats (no lights and no-one to help) it was a very uncomfortable experience. Felt a little like being in an air-hanger. Drinks were incredibly expensive too and I felt we had already paid enough for the tickets. The artist was the draw, not the arena for sure.
there needs to be better lighting in trying to find your seat. cant see marking in the dark and its a long way down if you trip on the the concrete. when you purchased a ticket on line they give you what you didnt select. when i did i selected section R but recieved tickets to section 42 near the top. when tickets went on sale at 10am i selected my ticket at 10;01 and was told these were the best seats at the time. not knowing the metra. theses seats were awful. I will never go to the METRA again. spent over 200 dollars for seats near the top better know as nose bleed section. un like most folks when i completed my purchased i made a copy before i did. its not where i selected. the facility there is average. this place a major update and better way of buying tickects you dont get what you buy there. Dont ever go there.
The MetraPark is a great space to have in Billings. However, Billings is growing and entertainment is struggling to keep up with the demand. Keep up with the demographics and bring in more popular bands. It's hard to hear that they ALMOST had Justin Timberlake or Taylor Swift. Those two would provide a sell out crowd. The rest of MetraPark needs to be updated as well.
Nothing bad, nothing outstanding. It is a long way to walk for some, either uphill or downhill. Not very welcoming to drop people off at the entrance, possible, but you feel like a criminal.
great place to see sporting events in Montana, biggest in state and they put on a good show, Fuddruckers is in the Metro park along with other food vendors
The sound quality is sooo good now! Rascal Flatts was AWESOME! The seating is comfortable and spacious the addition of more restrooms helped too.
WOW! That's all I can say - WOW!! What a parade!! What a show! What an auction! Billings is antique car HEAVEN!!
We were there for the Montana Fair, which we enjoyed, especially the rodeo. Metra Park is more than just the Rimrock Auto Arena, which was not open for the fair. So we were in the buildings in the rest of the grounds including the Grandstand, the Midway, and the various buildings housing everything from the youths with their 4H projects to the buildings with the vendors selling lots of stuff that is standard for a fair. We thought it was a nice event and a nice solid facility.I really liked the layout of the upper parking lot and the fact that it was easy to get into and out of. During the fair, they were providing shuttle service or you could take the stairs (or ramps).
This building is run by the county. The sound system has been improved since the tornado ripped of the roof. Too bad it didn't destroy the whole darn thing. The seats are still cramped and too small. Building is cold and lifeless.
Most any seat in Metra Park will be a good one to see rodeo. Sound system is good as is the big screen. Up front seats are generally not terribly expensive and I recommend them for anyone who likes to get a little "atmosphere' on them during the rodeo. You will be mere feet away from the rough stock and have a birds-eye view of the action. Food vendors serve above average "arena food" and the parking is reasonably convenient.
I love going to concerts, but have found if you sit in the middle you will get an echo from the music if it is loud at all. They have remodeled since the tornado and added more womens restrooms! Awesome! Just need to improve the echo!!!
Great environment to attend the 2013 PBR event. Great show with good usher servic eto help find seats
