raft wv inc.

We just spent a weekend in Fayetteville, WV Whitewater Rafting town. We planned a weekend what was thought to be a fun filled trip with a rafting company call Raft WVA, inc. Well it turns out our weekend trip was aweful and stressful. First we arrived in Fayetteville, WV at 11:00 pm July 1st at the Rafting camp site with no one to be found not the camp site itself. So we drove around and finally payed for one night and camped out at Rivermen. The next day we get up early to check in for a full day of rafting with RAFT WVA, INC. to find no hot breakfast as promised on the brochure we received from this company. Next, we find out we will be rafting with the Owner's eleven year old son and his inexperienced eleven year old friend whom later on that day clearly did NOT listen to the rafting guide very well where I felt my life was in danger. The oar and the life jackets were filthy and moldy. During the morning we found out that the bottom of our raft was leaking and continued to leak so no one on the raft could secure their foot on the bottom of the raft because the raft bottom out. The company was not pre The lunch was the worst lunch I ever had precooked hotdogs and cardboard hamburgers. After the raft trip there was no promise of the Dinner with Entertainment as advertised on the brochure. The comment was sorry we are not having dinner anymore which was not informed upon the reservation. The manager in charge could care less about making the guests happy but only ensuring they meet the quota for number of reservations signed. There were pictures taken that were suppose to be uploaded on the website but there were no pictures as promised. In my opinion I don't recommend rafting with this company if you want to have a enjoyable time. Don't let the prices fool you because when it comes to rafting you get what you pay for. I would go with Rivers or Rivermen.
