horse creek golf course

With all the interstates finally in and around Birmingham, getting to good golf is not as time consuming as it was when I live in Alabama years ago. Horse Creek is a ways out of Birmingham but an easy drive via the highways. Very pretty course with some great views. Some elevation changes but not drastic. Course was in excellent shape. Almost no one there besides the group I was with. They do not have a clubhouse built so they are operating out of a couple of trailers for their shop, snack bar and office. They did not have a beverage cart and I did not even see on in their cart storage area (would not call it a barn).
