This market has moved South from the listed location, it is now at 1088 Hughes Road at the Trinity Baptist Church. Better parking and able to accommodate the growing number of vendors. Get local honey, produce, pecans, plants, jelly, relish, crafts, meat, butter, free range eggs and more. This is an excellent market!

This is the real deal, a community market with a fresh feel. We're new to Madison but we've hit the market more than once and have discovered great products from great people. It was located beside the Discovery Middle School and large enough to be easily spotted when driving by on Hughes Rd. It's small enough that you can't get lost as you wander from canopy to canopy speaking with folks ready to tell you all you want to know. If you share my love of American small business I implore you to join me this spring on Saturdays when the market returns. You will have a truly Norman Rockwell moment sitting back with a mason jar full of locally made sweet tea and people watch at the market.

I've been going to this market for over a year and it just keeps getting better. Lots of homemade jams, jellies, bakery goods, relishes, plants, meats, eggs, milk, nuts as well as numerous fruits and veggies in season. The vendors grow or make the goods here so you get some good food and some unique creations. Open on Saturday mornings till noon in season. South of 72 Hwy on Hughes Road at the high schoool on the West side.

Open every Saturday morning thru November 17 in 2012, beside Discovery Middle School. Local producers providing vegetables, fruit, herbs, meats, cheeses, relishes, flowers, home-baked goods, etc. Also, creations from local artisans. In the summer, go when it opens around 8:00 AM, before the day gets hot, as the booths are outside on the lawn. The day we went there was no live banjo music, but a couple of the booths were playing recorded fiddlers. It was a fun outing. We bought some fresh veggies, fruits, cookies and small cakes, which we took home and enjoyed. My wife wants to go there again, soon.
