This is a worthwhile stop along the main street of town.The displays attractively interpret the geological marvel that we call the "Bering Land Bridge" so important to the early settlement of North America.

Worth a visit to make your own mind up. Friendly staff. Ask questions. A very nice gift shop. There are no cost nature trips available ask for the schedule. Exhibits are nice now a bit dated several years old. I think this can be a bigger community resource if staff put on their thinking caps.

This is a small, little shop on main street but has some great historical pieces and are willing to stop and chat about any of the local history.

A must see while in Nome, lots of interesting facts. Easy walk for anywhere in town. Can't miss the building it is the one with the huge Polar Bear carving at the entrance.
