eielson visitor center

The exhibits were outstanding! There were multiple diagrams/maps of the Mtns. We would have stayed in longer if the day hadn't been so Beautiful! The bathrooms were also well maintained.There are trails right here and you can go up to higher elevations or walk down and the amount of hiking you do is up to you. The sights were magnificent!!!

This is as far as we got on the Denali tour. There was an interesting film at the center and many photo and map displays.

Stopped here on our Denali bus tour. This is a nice place with good information. We were here on the 1st day of snow and the area was beautiful. No hiking this trip but we could see some great trails.

We went back as far as the Eielson on our Denali Shuttle Tour. I think this is a good trip, not too far but far enough. The visitor center had a lot of interesting exhibits and staff at the center to answer questions. The view at the Eielson is breathtaking and majestic.

Awesome view to Denali and a heap of other mountains. The centre has some interesting displays including one where you line up the silhouette of the mountains with the view through the window to see the names of the mountains you're looking at. Also a cool quilt depicting the 4 seasons of Denali.

Pequeno museu na rota do ônibus do parque do Denali. Depois de um longo trajeto na ida, recomendo descer aqui, conhecer o centro, descansar, admirar a vista e se preparar para pegar o ônibus de volta.

Se você vai ficar só um dia no Denali, como eu, provavelmente vai escolher o ônibus que vai até o Eielson Visitor Center - uma viagem de 66 milhas (só de ida). Você passa por dois terços da estrada do parque e consegue ver bastante coisa. O centro em si é bem recente e bonito, com maquetes e imagens do parque, que contam a sua história. Ali você pode descansar da viagem de ida do ônibus, admirar a vista e se preparar pra viagem de volta. Tem banheiros e, se não me engano, máquinas que vendem lanches e bebidas. Também há monitores do parque que poderão tirar qualquer dúvida que você tenha.
