JVD's Soda shoppe is out of business. The restaurant that now occupies this space is Burger Shack. I had lunch at the Burger Shack and had a wonderful cheeseburger. If you are looking for a good meal you can't go wrong with the Burger Shack. Be aware they are only open for lunch Monday through Friday.

I absolutely loved this place when it was in business. I have never had a better malt, Reuben, or muffelata as I enjoyed there. On many occasions, Jerry was there and was happy to meet with you. He would tell stories or play the piano. He was a joy to be around. His diner was my favorite and his museum was interesting. I sure do miss this place.
