I had a blast when I came to George's visiting Fayetteville it is an incredibly fun place to see live music and interesting people. We went to a wedding at George's and it was amazing we also went to the night life event and it was so much fun great stop in Fayetteville
My sister and I went to Arkansas to celebrate their Cave Wedding on 9.19. Now before you leave this review you need to hang on until the end. This couple caved, water water, rapelling, and caving together.as friends not a couple. She was almost killed in one trip. The couples relationship developed and as a result they got married in a cave. Neat Huh! If you plan on visiting Fayeteville you will not find I 540 it's name has been changed t0 59N. No they do not tell you but allow you to finally find this route which has a large number of green signs that are totally blank except for exit numbers with No information. You will receive new maps with the old designation of I 540. The residents said the Governor wanted to make it easy for prople from Chicago to drive 49 all the way to Fayteville. A lot of other sign misinformation exists but I'll let you discover them if you are unfortunate to visit. On the way back home we stopped at Winstar Casino in Thackerville Oklahoma. I am playing a 0.75 machine. We had played in Arkansas and Choctaw with mixed results. All of a sudden the man across the aisle went crazy he had just won $400,000.00. That's right four hundred thousand dollars. Betting 0.25. I know I'll never see that again. But the Slot adventure continues!!!
I had a blast when I came to see one of my favorite bands there this last February. It was cold but the music was awesome as always! Loved that it wasn't a arm and a leg to get something to drink. Everyone was super friendly! One of the best places I was went to , to see a concert.
George's is an incredibly fun place to see live music and interesting people. I've been going there for many years and if you want to see great live music in Fayetteville, go to Georges.
I'm not sure how many times i have been here to see great bands like BIGSMITH, several dozen atleast. The remodel they did this year shut off the canvas roof for a more weather friendly seating area. The sound is great and the drinks are priced at a decent rate.
Lots of old hippies wearing tiedye and India fabrics, a variety of bands, plenty of seating, and a low cover charge for happy hour Fridays, and you can stay after for the band in the front room. If you must have A/C do not go in summer, as it gets HOT when lots dancers. They keep up with the drink orders and can validate parking as well!
Not a lot of venues in Fay to catch good live music, but this place is definitely one of them. They get some good names in here and its usually one of the more happening spots, especially in the Dickson area. Check it out, especially if you have a favorite group playing there!
Was there for Phillip Roebuck and The Devil Makes Three, March 6th. Great folks great show! Will be back soon.
This is a great place to hear music, although not air conditioned, which is not so good in August. Can't speak for the men's bathrooms, but on the ladies' side, be prepared! The stall doors don't lock, not all the stalls are functional, and there was water all over the floor.
