We come here often. The outside grounds are truly awesome in Spring thru Fall. There are many places (both inside and out) that afford people chances to walk through, visit, and "reflect". Winter obviously limits the outside activity, but the very nice Gift Store and several nice indoor facilities make it still worth the visit. We know several people of varying religious beliefs that make regular visits here to pause and reflect on their lives. It is peaceful and "medicine" for the mind and the spirit. We come away from each visit refreshed and thankful.

This was a really nice shrine which had a very nice gift shop, which held a surprise in the back - one of the greatest collections of Russion icons, very interesting.

We stopped because I am interested in labyrinths. I was hoping for more garden areas, but there were none. It was quiet and good for reflection. I enjoyed the hall of Saints. The labyrinth was ok, pathways were small stones in the hot sun. Overall this was less than I expected.

Masses held in former Parish Center -- very cozy, warm, and attendees were welcomed by presiding clergy and servers.

Be sure to visit all the buildings, especially the little building with all the saints with the candles. A very, very special place. A half an hour here, sitting quietly, is there perfect solution for the stress and troubles of modern life. Wonderful gift shop. Grounds are lovely.

Always a favorite spot for generations of my family. I began going to the shrine as a child with my grandmother and now I take my two little girls. Saint Anne's is a place of hope and spriritual peace.

Bring your troubles and walk around the lush grounds and pause by each of the stations of the cross - say a prayer - and you will find peace. Inside this little church you will find past miracles that have occurred at the shrine. Crutches, canes and braces line the walls that were witness to God's healing hands. There is also a small gift shop on the property that offers reasonable religious articles. Truly an oasis of peace in this busy world.

Outside pavillion was the setting and it was very beautiful. It is a very peaceful place. Go if you are looking for a nice religious pilgrimage, or you need to get away from it all. The grounds are well kept. They have a nice gift shop, too.

What an absolutely wonderful place to make a pilgramage to--beautiful grounds with a Way of the Cross, Holy Stairs, and a gift shop with an impressive display of treasured Russian icons--plus a quaint chapel and a place where you can light either small or large candles to Saint Anne--a very spiritual place that I will never forget!

I love how this special place is in a mountain top setting. Clean, quiet, easy to get to, friendly staff and reasonable hrs.

St. Anne's Shrine is run by the Assumptionists. There is a daily Mass at 10 A.M in the main church. There is a side altar dedicated to St. Anne in the main church. There is a wall here covered with crutches and braces that people have left at the Shrine after being cured. You can also read the testimonies of other people who have visited and been cured. The grounds behind the Church are only open between between April and Nov. Here there is a life size Stations of the Cross, the Holy Stairs, a votive chapel to the Saints, and various Shrine's dedicated to Our Lady of Fatima, St Joseph, St Anne, St Jude, etc. The grounds are very beautiful; the atmosphere is very peaceful. It is a good place to pray and gather your thoughts. There is also a nice gift shop, and a museum with very beautiful iconic art. It is worth going to the Shrine just to see these icons; many are very old and all are very beautiful.

St. Anne's Shrine is a religious site run by the Assumptionist Order that is dedicated to St. Anne, mother of the Virgin Mary. Pilgrims have come to the shrine for generations in search of physical and spiritual healing in this peaceful atmosphere. The place is pretty old-fashioned and not what you'd expect to find the the Sturbridge area. The grounds aren't as well tended as they used to be, but they still include prayerful places like the Way of the Cross, a Votive Chapel, a Lourdes Grotto, and Sacra Santa (Holy Stairs) where the faithful go up the stairs on their knees. The site is a fitting place for contemplation and meditation. The shrine includes a church with a space devoted to St. Anne where those cured have left crutches and other mementos. There is a gift shop where the faithful can buy religious items and behind it is a museum with a fine selection of Russian Icons. The museum is among the best kept secrets in central Massachusetts. There are facilities for those wishing to picnic on the grounds. Daily Mass is celebrated at 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM. Call ahead for a Sunday schedule.
