Charity event golf is fun but not like playing your own ball. Course was in great shape after the tournament. The course was set up very easy, too easy, but still a lot of fun. Not a great course just very good
The TPC Boston located in Norton is an unbelievable course, unsurpassed in all of New England. Unfortunately it is definitely a private course an unless you are a member of the TPC or know a member there is no way that I know of that you can play here. However, if you enjoy watching golf, the Tiger Woods tournament is here every year the week before and over Labor Day weekend. The tournament is well organized for spectators and a great show.
The conditions are fabulous. The greens are quick, the rough is tough and the service is fantastic. No houses, no condos just a beautiful course with a great practice facility and clubhouse with great food too!
have been invited to play here twice in the few monthsMost recently on 10/2Played with a member so we did not have a fore caddy.Pace of play was good and although the course is not easy we moved fairly quickly around.Starter tries to slot you into the right tee for hcp. It is expensive if you are paying.Always fun to play at the place the professionsals play. It is amazing to me that they carve this place up every year. For the average golfer there is alot of trouble. Front 9 has more forced carries than back.Course is very women friendly and forward tees make it very playable. One of our group was a 9 hcp women and she felt it was a little too easy. Course was in perfect shape and staff works hard to make it a good day. Service was very good both times. Love their practice area and range. Lots of great targets to aim at.
Excellent facility! Will return next year at same time. However Tiger Woods was unavailable for the practice round due to injury. This course was in immaculate condition from tee to green. The pros were very co-operative with the autograph seekers throughout the day. Our grandson got several signatures. At 7 years of age,he had a great experience.
Recently my husband and I attend the TPC Boston, we have been before, but this time is just wasn't exciting to see. The food menu was limited and very pricey. The fairways were in great shape as well as the greens, but the atmosphere was lacking excitement.
While I rated this experience "excellent" there is a caveat: The course design, while beautiful and in great shape, has several "jail" type features which, though avoidable, requires accuracy in both direction and distance. A fore caddy or a knowledgeable member is a must to help you avoid these features.
Great experience playing here. Friendly caddie service was a nice touch to make the most of your round. Starter and all help were pleasant and accommodating. Not too many places an ordinary golfer can play where the pros play - so don't miss this opportunity!
There's frankly better and more accessible golf in the area. Very challenging course, but very expensive if you can get invited to play. I'd play pine hills or even Metacomet before I went back to TPC Boston.
Arnold Palmer course - beautiful grounds - top notch
Played here on a Saturday in early October. From the time you drive down the long entrace way the anticipation builds. The grounds are emaculate and the service is outstanding. This is a first class golf experience from the bag drop on your arrival to the clubhouse after the round.Get their early as you want to take advantage of the awesome practice facilty. This is an excellent course with multiple tee's so even the high handicapper can have an enjoyable golf experience. From the middle tee's this is a course that you can score on. Be sure to know the pin placement as the greens are huge and often times it is 2 or more clubs fromt he front pin location to the back pins. You will be required to have 1 caddy for your foresome. Take advantage of the ability to read the greens and just get the ball on their line and you will be score. If you have time after your round go to the bar as the have an excellent menu and outstanding bar stff.
Good layout, some small greens. Love the par 3 16th
