Took a glassblowing class with 3 others through a Living Social Deal. The employees are all very friendly and explain what is going on through the entire experience. The team lets you pick out all the attributes of the glass piece you are making (we made pumpkins). The whole expereince was only about an hour but it was pretty fun. My friend broke his because he blew on the tube too hard and they helped him start over and ensure he still got a nice piece. Definiately worth a trip.

I bought my fiancé a groupon to do glass blowing for his birthday. We had so much fun and it was really amazing seeing this art up close and trying it out. To be honest, the expert does most of the "heavy lifting" so to speak but they engage you as much as possible for a first experience so that I think it was completely safe and fully educational. The pieces we got to bring home are beautiful and we will cherish them and the experience we had for years to come! I highly, highly recommend!!!!

I took a glassblowing class in Ny and it was good. BUT, the glassblowing class at Luke Adams is alot more hands on than the other place. I took a 1 hr class, at Luke Adams with a friend of mine in Oct 2014 ( we each made a pumpkins)then jan 2015 I took my 3 sons ages 23,21 and 18 for a 1 hr class they made paper wts and ornaments. Now I am booked for a 3 hrs class with a friend of mine. I can't say enough about the staff and the hands on experience. I love it....and plan on taking many more class.

Great time learning about glass blowing and making a couple of items. Katelyn was a wonderful instructor and we learned a lot about glass and glass blowing. Highly recommend and plan to go back.

We purchased a Groupon for a three hour glass and we are so glad we did. Our instructor was Keith Cerone who is extremely knowledgable and talented. You get to choose from several items to make. You can make paperweights, glass bowls, ornaments, tumblers, etc. you get instruction on how the process works and hands on assist in each step in the process. At the end you have two items that you can use at home. I use my tumbler every day. This is a very fun afternoon. We have considered doing it again and making different items.

Is it pricey? Yes, but so much fun. The boys skipped this one and it was just me and my 17 year old daughter. We had SO much fun. Evan was our teacher and it was very informative and an overall GREAT experience. 100% would do this again. I used groupon for some savings.

SO much fun - LOVED class! Staff is very knowledgable and interactive - flexible to what YOU want to do. Class was definitely hands on with help, of course! Small studio, small class,Huge fun! Can't wait to go back!

So far I've taken 3 glass blowing classes and 1 infused glass jewelry class. The glass blowing class gets easier the more you do it. I just wish I could afford to take more classes! Also I found that it depends on the instructor. For my 3rd glass blowing class, we had an instructor named Keith and he was awesome. I highly recommend going with a friend(s). It truly is a fun experience.

I bought class tickets for the 1 hour session for myself and some friends. Although we all felt a bit nervous going in, we were all thrilled coming out! Great staff; from helping to decide what to make and thoughts on color choices to the actual support in getting them made - they explained all along the way. I'll definitely go back!

Had a wonderful time at the three hour blown glass class that I received as a gift. The staff was helpful, super friendly and fun! My pieces came out beautifully.

I received a class as a Christmas gift and loved using it. The 1 hour glassblowing class only has four participants and you help each other make a great take-home piece. The instructor was great (wish I could remember his name). He explained the artistic options up front so we could choose and then, every step of the way, he explained and assisted. He answered all our random questions and even went beyond the simple explanations so that we could really understand how the glass blowing process worked step by step. Loved this glass. Definitely try it out!

I have never written a review, but really feel almost obligated to let people know how cool this is! My husband and I received the 3 hour glassblowing class as a gift. We were a little nervous when we arrived, but the whole vibe of this place is relaxed! Our teacher was Keith, who was absolutely the best. Great instructor, great personality, and really motivated to have your project be just beautiful! The process of choosing your first project and deciding on the color selection is a little confusing, but, again, Keith explained it perfectly and it became very clear as we went through the process. The time flew by and our glass creations came out beautifully. We did travel to get there and weren't aware that we couldn't bring our projects home. Luckily our daughter lives in the area and was able to pick them up. You will be so pleased with this class!

My friend and I bought a groupon for the 1 hour jewelry class. I had no idea what it would be like but it was a blast. We had no prior experience and were easily able to do it. You work with fused glass to make jewelry (no blowing). Our instructor was great and did not rush us. The groupon included only one project and we paid additional fees to make others but it was minimal cost. The class was $25 each and then I spent another $25 for additional projects but made three things. Definitely going back!

My partner and I did a three hour class here through a living social coupon. We initially were to do it on a Friday evening at 5, but between a late-into-Boston train, heavy rain, and terrible traffic, we were never going to make it on time. I called and despite the "72-hours notice", they rescheduled us for a Saturday (with a $25 fee to pay the instructor, which was totally fair.) They were really nice about it.Our actual class was led by Christina was so much fun! It was us and one other couple and Christina, and she led us through an explanation of process, colors, and the tools we'd be using, then we each took turns making a small piece (paperweights for us, pumpkins for them), and then we rotated making a blown piece (for us a vase and footed bowl, for them fluted bowls.)Christina was laid-back, confident and helpful, and was really good about letting you take on as much of the process as you could, while making sure you made something worth having. Admittedly handling molten blobs of glass just out of a 1200 degree furnace can be intimidating (even scary) but i never felt anything other than at ease.I do have one small suggestion, and that would knock a half-star off if i could: Adding color is extra. It's $10-20 additional (depending on what colors you want) and this is disclosed no where -- not on the living social coupon, and no where on their website. It feels a little deceptive, because you dont find out until you are THERE, but could easily be remedied with a note / reminder when you sign up.But overall, this was a fantastic experience, and we're already talking about going back to make Christmas presents or so the private class.(They do sell their wares there as well, if you are just looking for art glass.)A NOTE: Your glass needs to anneal (cool) for at least 24-hour, so you're not going to be taking anything home. Keep this in mind if you are visiting from out of town (though of course they can ship for $6 per piece).
