Courteous empoyees, great movie selection, nice personal size, convenient parking and good restaurant opportunities= who could ask for anything more!

Clean, gets newer movies but all of the Theatres are tiny. I go to the theatre for the big screen experience. Screens here at Waltham are so small I might as well watch it in my living room, it is cheaper. Parking can be very difficult on weekends, making it iffy whether you can get a seat.

This place runs both independent art house films and major first run blockbusters however it is an art house theater all the way so don't expect the perks of a major cinema chain. Location sits in downtown Waltham off dreary Moody street and is on the center of a side street. One problem with the place, the parking is a nightmare. There are no signs to tell you to park in the rear half garage and you have to find your way down the street to then battle patrons for spots in a tight parking garage/lot. the lot is so small that you will have to squeeze by other cars to go around and if it is a Saturday night, be prepared to not get a spot at all. The theaters here are sort of small, very tight and like any independent theater, uncomfortable non reclining seats and small screens. The lobby of the place is also tight and the movies sell out frequently here. Place looks like it needs an upgrade however that may contribute to its charm. The snack bar is decent, fresh popcorn and prices are reasonable. If I was seeing a blockbuster first run movie though, I would stick to the main stream theaters for comfort and size. Prices are no different here, $11 a person so why not go elsewhere? Plus you won't have to battle for a parking space and better, you won't have to maneuver crowded Moody street in Waltham.

This theatre was added in the mid-1990s to Waltham center, and since then has been a star attraction. Really nice movie selection. My only beef -- if you need to use the bathroom it's up a long flight of stairs, or by using a elevator that's slow or not working. But generally a great place to go!

The theater itself was relatively nice and clean. The theaters seem to have less chairs than others. The nice twist is that after the previews and before the move the general manager took a moment to welcome us, tell us his name, and if anyone needed anything to let him know. As we were leaving, the person at the ticket counter was wishing us a good night.

This cinema is handy to downtown Mood Street. Thus you can visit an array of eateries before or after the show. Lots of choices for movies that should satisfy most movie goers. Good selection of the usual movie goodies, plenty of party and senior discounts. Good place to "chill" and catch a flick.

Solid selection of recent blockbusters and arty films too. So many restaurants are nearby, so it's great for a date or family outing. Look for parking in the big parking lot on the other side of Moody Street.

This is a very clean theater and a nice place to catch a movie with your significant other, a date or even the family.

We were curious to see a newly-released off-beat movie, and this was the closest movie theater that was showing it. It's in the middle of Wlatham, but there is a large parking complex behind it that is free on Sundays (when we were here).Prices are a bit lower than at the multi-plexes in the suburbs, and seats are comfortable. There are plenty of interesting restaurants within walking distance along Moody Street

Great local 6 screen theater offering up first run blockbusters as well as great independent pics. Low stress alternative to the mall complexes.

If you live in the area, this is a convenient theater (when they play the current release you are interested in, which often does not happen). However, it is relatively expensive considering it is an older theater, is not stadium seating, and is small both in size and in movie offerings. It feels kind of fun to go to this theater, but it is often limited so we have to go to Dedham, Woburn or Burlington for more options and all of the current movies.

The Embassy is always there for you when you're trying to see that Oscar flick that's not showing anywhere else. Plenty of parking available and ticket prices are reasonable. It's not one of those older theaters they have NEVER updated (I'm talking to you Newton). While you find stadium seating you will have fairly updated seating and sound systems.

This theater shows a lot of movies simultaneously, but doesn't feel like a big-box movie theater. The movies shown here are generally the more intelligent flicks. Foods offered are the general movie theater fare, and there an outstanding variety of restaurants on Moody Street for movie goers. Also, there is plenty of parking in the garage behind the theater.

All theaters are on the first floor, but the restrooms are upstairs. There is an elevator. Seats are comfortable with cup holders attached to the seat in front of you. All seemed clean. Embassy screens the better movies that don't come to your everyday cineplex. There is a parking lot just behind the theater with a kiosk for paying. On a weekday afternoon the charge was just $2.00, so that is well worth the convenience. And Tuesday matinees are a bargain at $6.00. I really recommend this spot for serious movie goers.

It's not like the big megatheaters, and that works for me. Parking is not bad, as there is a lot behind the theater. And there are plenty of restaurants along Moody Street to make this a dinner and a movie place. The movie selection is good, so all in all this works out well for a casual Saturday night out.
