I've attended 2 weddings at the Liriodendron. Both were absolutely gorgeous. The architecture and historic decor add even more romance to an already lovely occasion.

My brother was married here and the location was absolutely stunning! The grounds are quiet and surrounded by woods. Absolutely a hidden gem in the area!

We have attended art exhibits on many occasions, and our daughter's wedding and reception were held here. It is a wonderful venue for whatever event is being held. The homehas been lovingly restored to accommodate large and small gatherings.

A beautiful hidden spot in Bel Air. Very nice to walk around. Beautiful location for art exhibits, concerts and special occasions. I have been here for several weddings, and is just a perfect spot.

Our family spent a quiet Sunday afternoon learning local history and admiring the beauty of this estate. An older gentleman showed us around and told us stories from his childhood at the estate. At the end, he sat at the piano and charmed us by playing music from the era of the estate's glory days.

We were married here in 2005- was the most beautiful day. The yard was a fantastic backdrop for our photos. Wish you didn't drive up to the back of the mansion but was a great day. They were very accommodating and we were able to choose our own venders from a list- you do not have this freedom to choose at Baltimore venues. It was also much more affordable than Baltimore venues. Book a tour and get married in Bel Air- a wonderful venue!

Lovely home, site of many events as weddings, anniversary parties etc. Nice to visit this restored home.

Very good experience here for my daughter's wedding and reception. The management was very helpful and the facility is outstanding. Not the place for a big crowd.

Harford County was very wise in investing in Liriodendron many years ago. The mansion has been lovingly restored, and is a showplace for many exhibits, and well as weddings, parties, etc. The setting is well maintained, as are the rooms in the mansion itself. Well worth your while to take a tour and possibly arranging your own special occasion there.

When looking for a place to hold a wonderful party, wedding reception, etc., this historic mansion is a spectacular spot in central Bel Air, MD! You need to provide the food, etc., but there are many caterers in the area.

Originally the summer home of one of the eminent physicians who helped to found the Johns Hopkins, this beautiful building is well maintained and it serves the whole Harford community as a place for special meetings, musical performances, weddings, etc.

If you like to walk, you can see this while visiting the Ma & Pa Trail in Bel Air, MD. There are signs on the trail or you can just drive here and pull up in the parking lot. During the summer, it is a great place to bring your camera and take pics of the beautiful building and the grounds, along with the flowers. Bring your tennis shoes and go for a walk on the Ma & Pa trail. You'll love it. The reason i rated it Average, is because i can walk here from my condo, so i see it all the time, but for someone who has never been here, i think you may like it. Also Bel Air ( old town ) has some nice shops to visit.

This is a 100 year old mansion built at the top of a hill. They have improved wheelchair access recently. There is a first floor bathroom that is accessible but not to ADA standards but you can take a companion in. There is some parking close by but nothing is level and the majority of parking is at the bottom of a hill. It has huge porches that are used for receptions which are on one level but a different level from the interior and only one door is accessible. Always beautiful at Christmas. There are often exhibits but they are usually upstairs which is not accessible.

Some interesting history here, along with the occasional art exhibits. The grounds are beautiful and right next to the MA & PA Trail if you want to stretch your legs a little more. If you have up to an hour to spend in Bel Air, this is a great place to do it.

Beautiful Mansion with lovely grounds. A friend's daughter had her wedding reception there and it was perfect.
