mudd farmhouse

I've been there several times, its a dark part of history though. Still a part that played a role. The house is well preserved, I remember his grand daughter when she managed the house. She was living history with her stories.I;m a local police officer and one night while checking the house I swear I heard footsteps and I was the only one around the house.

The Mudd House and farm are easily accessed from Maryland Route 5 in Souther Maryland. My wife and I found the tour of the home extreamly informatiive and the tour guide was very professional. One great additional attration at the site during our visit was the presence of several Uniformed reenactors both Blue and Grey, who had sert up unique demonstrations and exhibits for the public to view. As a couple my wife and I would recommend the Mudd House and the tour, which cost $7 and was worth every penny.
