This place is in better condition than most places around. It is right on the beach. And the building is painted very bright colors. The food was good and the portions were nice sizes. Drinks were good prices also. It is definitely a tourist attraction, but don't hold that against them. I will be back.

Bright colors, warm vibes, awesome view, cold drinks at great prices with good service and oh by the way that's the Caribbean kissing the shore! What more could anyone need??Among the must sees in Placencia the view is breathtaking from the rooftop deck. Great place to people watch and just take it all in.What time is it?? Who Cares!

Something is always going on at tipsy tuna. Locals and tourist come out great place to get food late until :) on saturdays and customer service was good. Live music occasionally. BEACH FRONT RUM AND GOOD FOOD WHAT MORE DO YOU NEED.

Cool place by the beach, but we waited and waited to get a waitress. We enjoyed the Garifuna Drumming that was preforming, as we waited! They are awesome! So that helped with the wait, But the fries were cool and the coleslaw portions were SUPER small. Overall, Not even close to being worth the money.Disappointment among our Placencia experiences!

Tipsy Tuna what a great name for a Belizean bar by the beach. Belize is all about culture and having and unforgettable experience while you are here and what other place to have all of this in one location, Tipsy Tuna. Tipsy tuna is one of the best places you can find in Placencia, this is where you will be able to dine, take a couple of drinks, sun bathe by the beach and just have fun. I have been here a quite a couple of times and the atmosphere is always great. You can visit Tipsy Tuna any time during the day. One great place to hang out with family, friends and the world.

I visited this place with some friends and we had a blast. The food is simple but good quality. Every thing we order was good.the Service is fast and cordial. And the place has personality.

My wife and I have been staying in Placencia for nearly a week and just now came to the Tipsy Tuna after other locals had recommended it to us. The drinks and food were great, but best of all was our server, Peter Dacoff. Funny, attentive,  and invested in our experience.  Like many Belizeans,  he was warm and inviting, and also happy to offer numerous suggestions for activities outside the normal tourist fare. We've had a number of great servers in Belize, but Peter is without question one of the best.

Great atmosphere, food, and staff.Safe place for kids to play on the beach while the older family members sit at a table in the shade.Great place to people watch, always fun.

Our staff went there last Friday for a staff retreat. Good clean facilities and 'vibesy' bar. Beach is nice also, but is replete with sea weed which could have been cleaned away.

We heard about this place from one of the locals so we figured we'd try it out. Known for their tasty burritos, we tried the pork burrito and the fish tacos with homemade flour tortillas. Both were delicious. We also happened to be there during happy hour so the rum punches were dirt cheap. Great food, great music, great ambiance for an even greater price. And just 10 steps from the ocean. Wear your bathing suits and stay for a while. This was also a younger crowd so the music was a mix of old reggae and current pop. Not your granpa's joint.

We were hot and stopped in for a bite of food and some adult refreshment. Service as great, food was simple but very good and the drinks were great!! Enjoyed the stray dog that was polite and appreciated some food scraps. We ended up coming back the next night to see a fun drum band. Would recommend to anyone visiting Placencia.

Attended for a wing night. Drinks were amazing and "Peter" was the best. Knowledgable and quick service with a pleasant smile, friendly attitude and a fun personality.

We went to the Tipsy Tuna 3 times while we were here, to watch Olympic hockey games. Twice we showed up before, or right at, opening time, and they turned the TV on and happily served us drinks. Putting up with obnoxious hockey fans with cowbells and lots of noise, and they couldn't have been more gracious. The food is standard bar fare, but quite good, and their drinks are deadly. Be warned. :)

Service is hit or miss, but for the most part the Tipsy Tuna is a good time. Bright atmosphere and great live events. Worth the visit.
