Just spent 10 days in the Bocas del Torro area. We found the BEST snorkeling and diving we've seen in 30 years. The water is SO nutrient rich that for the FIRST TIME we saw coral out feeding! We saw HUNDREDS of tube worms; it looked like an underwater flower garden. It was paradise!

We spent an afternoon at Red Frog Beach and loved every second of it! It's a great mix of a little jungle with beach. We ate at a local place and had WONDERFUL chicken and it was also very cheap, totally worth the visit. The ride over is only $5 to $7 and it is not very long. It is one thing you have to do in Bocas.

This Island is close Isla colon, you can take a taxi boat for US$ 5 to reach the Red Frog Beach, a beautiful beach to spend the day, there´s a restaurant with reasonable prices, $ 2 a beer. The waves there are nice too. You must pay $ 3 to visit this beach in the entrance of the park. It´s worthy.

We took a water taxi out to Red Frog beach and then hiked along the coastline and through the edge of the jungle until we came to a quiet stretch of beach. The trek was mildly strenuous because of the heat and some steeper areas that were slick from rain. The swimming was pleasant because the water was calm and clear and you could float for hours enjoying the view. The sandy beach however was not quite as pleasant because there was an abundance of sand fleas. Apparently Isla Coranero and Red Frog on Bastamientos are full of them. If you are looking for calm relaxing water and a picturesque and beautiful location BNMP is great just be mindful of bites and keep deet at the ready. However, I highly recommend Bluff Beach on Isla Colon. It is a ways out of town and the surf is rough but the beach is flea-free, huge, and empty.

Lugar mais lindo de Bocas del Toro, que culmina com a isla zapatillas. Recomendo o restaurante Jasmin, bem proximo a area de mergulho.

Esta isla pareciera ser más grande que la misma Isla Colón, solo que es menos concurrida. Tuvimos la oportunidad de ir con el tour que nos organizó el hotel. Fuimos a una cueva en BahiaHonda que está en una parte a través de manglares en la Isla Bastimentos. Inicialmente está llena de murciélagos y a medida que uno se adentra llegas a una especie de mini lago. Entrar a la cueva con el guía y el uso de las linternas debes pagar $4.00 por persona. También conocimos la playa Red Frog y también por allí mismo se encuentra la reserva o parque forestal. Para al área de Red Frog debes pagar $3.00 por persona.Cómo llegar: A la cueva se puede llegar solo en lancha rápida y es atravesando un área de 25 minutos de manglares. No está incluido en los tours. Para llegar a Red Frog si se puede tomar una lancha rápida desde Isla Colón por $5.00 la ida y $5.00 la vuelta o tomar uno de los tours que lo incluye.

disfruté mucho de la pequeña playa de arena blanca, en la que pude encontrar caracoles grandes y agua cristalina adecuada para practicar Snorkeling, el lugar es muy visitado y las personas que transportan a los turistas son muy amables. Esta fué una experiencia muy bonita y en el trayecto se visita Dolphin Bay, en el que se puede ver de cerca delfines.

Playas de arena blanca y mar Azul transparente, el paraiso mismo.No muy explotado turisticamente , muy recommendable para viajar en pareja, pasar unos dias inolvidables en un lugar de ensuenos.

Estuve en el paque nacional Marino de bastimentos y me gusto muchísimo sobre todo el snorkel frente a playa larga.Muy bonita siempre que sea un día sin olas y puedas hacer snorkel frente a esa playa. Mi mujer y yo cojimos un tour privado y lo pasamos muy bien!!!!
