The best part of my trip to Goa was visiting this idyllic and scenic beach. The sunsets are truly remarkable and we enjoyed our view of the beach from the cliff. The waters are relatively safe for swimming and there are some quaint little dining options nearby. The Vagator and Anjuna Beaches are less crowded than the touristy Callangute Candolim stretch and give a feel of Go an life as it is.
Nice spot for those who are looking for some less crowded beaches in Goa. Amazing place during the sunset. Also close to my favourite spot in Goa: Thalassa Greek restaurant.
A perfect beach for a perfect view. This is beach very well suited for photography. Has rocks on the sea shore, gives this beach a perfect romantic view. Picture perfect for romantic couple."Beware of crabs on the rocks"
the view of sea from the top was just mesmerising... quiet but lively... loved the red cliffs... here one can sit on the hill top and have a bird's eve view of the sea down... the cold breeze .. the silent water and the rocks just amaze you..
Last year, Vagator was a vibrant place to visit, this year it is completely dead! Hilltop is empty most Sundays, The Mango Tree bar, normally the place to hang, is also empty and you can't get five minutes peace on the beach as the ratio of visitors to hawkers is so low they are pestering you every few minutes. Not impressed this time around. Another thing I noticed was the cost of a room has shot up. Perhaps if they put the room prices back down there would be more people on the beach, and in the bars, restaurants and nightclubs! There was one shining light however, the South Indian Restaurant that has opened at the bakery just to the left of The Mango Tree, I think it was called Jaws.
Vagator is a hidden Gem in Goa. Small beach and very less crowded as compared to rest of the beaches in Goa.A must visit place if you want to feel the calmness of the sea
good food, great beach, good shakeswe stayed there few times the service was very good 2 fit away from the water can ask more
We went there around 5 in the evening as it quite far from panjim and above Baga , Anjuna etc , Close to Chapora Fort. The beach is quite calm , and nice . Filled with Dogs and cows though! and try not to step in Dog poop and cow dung. Ideal place to hanfout , play football , volleyball or even just to sit and watch the beautiful sea.Watersports are pretty affordable too . They have special packages for 3-4 water sports for around 1200RS. Just one Cafe around and that didnt seem pretty nice , so getting food would be hard.
This is a very nice beach a bit rocky but beautiful. It is a long beach wasn't very crowded when we visited as it was off season, un like the Baga and Calangute beaches . Its a good place to relax and enjoy the view , beautiful palm tress and clean waters. It is bit unclean where the restaurant and parking area is . One can get some nice photos from the rocky areas by the beach. Its one of the beaches I would recommend . Enjoy !!
A long streach of beach, perfect to jog and stroll around, shacks around so thats why its clean. in noon due to water sports activity the water is not so clean. nice to visit
A very beautiful and peaceful beach, comparatively less crowd from other beaches but worth to visit. Don't miss it if you are in North Goa around Anjuna. You can also find all adventurous/water activity over here.
Peaceful & Beautiful. Don't miss this one. It's near by Anjuna Beach, Both can be covered in one day. Take a good shack and enjoy like anything. Superb place.
One of the calmer beaches of North goa, crowd is less compared to calngute & baga beachnot much choice for eating as only 2-3 places availble which are very average.water is not very clean, its also a bit rocky...
One of the best beaches in North Goa. Least commercial activities and hence one can spent leisurely time without much of distractions around.
This is a beautiful beach with rocks and sand duo ... Cleaner than other beaches and less crowded. Great view of Chapora fort from the beach is enjoyable.Although late in the evening (post 7pm) it gets dark and the way to beach is not well illuminated. All in all, a good one.
