zamboanga city hall

Though i wasn't able to explore the interior of the city hall, the place looked magnificent from the outside. the tall tower was wonderful to look at and I was amazed by its elegance.

The Zamboanga City hall is a beautiful historical building. It looks even nicer during Christmas when it is decorated by lights!

The facade of the City Hall is beautiful and reminds me of the Spanish occupation in the place similar to those in Intramuros Manila. With the numerous guards around, I sense it is a safe place to be in. I heard that it is best to see the building during Christmas time because they do dress up the place with Christmas decors.

Nice building. It also has a loudspeaker that plays music during the day. Maybe one day, a group will just suddenly dance on the street.

When we passed we were attracted of the inner decoration and ornamentation, the antique chandelier was an eye catcher. The guard of the early evening was amused of our being so nosey and volunteered to show us around the building. The second floor was more inviting.. all made of wood from the flooring, staircase, handrail, the chairs and even the picture frames. All were there since its first construction in the Spanish time.Amazing! I like it.

It's easy to determine when a locality is ran by good leaders and this is very evident. Kudos !

This Buiding was originally constructed by the Americans when they were running the affairs of the Islas de filipinas. this where the seat of governance in mindanao by the americans is located. later on during the japanese occupation this too beacame the seat of governance until such time the philippines became independent of colonial masters but this building was, is and still the seat of governance in this part of the region

Its a functional city hall with a spanish era architecture. A must see when in Zamboanga!

one of the icons that represent zamboanga city, great architectural design, and in front of the city hall is called Plaza Pershing, a mini park and the once famous Zamboanga AE Colleges now called Universidad de Zamboanga. During Christmas season, the entire city hall and the park are filled with thousands of christmas lights.

This is where the mayor of Zamboanga City holds office so there is nothing much you can do inside but just to marvel about the iconic design of its facade. It looks like it was built during the Spanish era but it's not. The government of the United States built this building in 1905 and was completed in 1907.

ｽﾍﾟｲﾝから米西戦争の結果ｱﾒﾘｶに統治権が移ったあとｱﾒﾘｶがｽﾍﾟｲﾝ色の濃いこのﾐﾝﾀﾞﾅｵ島の有力都市に建設した象徴的建物、町の中心にあり　前面は像のある公園、後は海に。1907年に完成、　公園の対面にはこの町唯一のモール、Squareがある。　1階にはｽｰﾊﾟｰﾏｰｹｯﾄが入っていて大体の食品は入手できる。
