bachelor's beach

This was a very easily accessible dive spot. There's a concrete stairwell going down to the water so entering and exiting with all your gear is a breeze. The parking lot is a little sketchy....condoms and empty beer bottles on the ground. We were warned at our dive shop to lock up all valuables in your car because of the high number of robberies. Many suspicious looking individuals would slowly drive through the parking lot....if you're not there to dive, there's no reason for you to be there. Use caution and common sense.

Nice reef close to shore. Entrance is easy and you can always just relax at the beach. Nice sand and few rocks. Locals seem to enjoy it too.

Easy Entry, nice dive. One of the easiest on the island. oil slick was easy as well and 1000 steps was too, but always have hard soled dive boots

we tried 10 or so snorkeling sites on Bonaire and this was one of the least good. Small sandy beach (that's good), plenty of parking, but this is more of a local children's swimming spot than snorkeling. We were told turtles and stingrays are seen there, but we did not see them, and the patchy coral was unremarkable.

Awesome sight with a nice shallow reef. The stairs are a bit tricky at the end but once you get to the sand it is easy entry and exit out of the water. No current or very mild current at this sight and lots of wildlife to look at. Smaller coral reef but very nice.

This was a nice place to get in and warm up to diving again. It is used by many and the coral isn't in the best condition but it is a load of fun and relaxing!

This is always a good dive and the shade covered table and benches are a real plus for getting geared up.

We thought we were in an aquarium! The colors were spectacular and it was an easy dive site to get to.

A small sandy beach if you are lucky and the tide is low. Pristine blue water and a great spot for diving (as almost everywhere on the west coast), easy entry (when you passed the stairs).

Average by Bonaire standards, easy entry. The marker on road is hard to see, covered by bush. Not very crowded. Good entry for kids.

Fun to have the airplanes travel directly overhead. Also has a nice sandy beach area to just float during surface times. You can actually hear the reef rattling around with each wave!

Ladder down to a sliver of sand beach, but it drops off quicklly to moderately deep with a white sandy bottom. Like swiming in a giant pool so blue is the water.

We love Bachelor's Beach with its easy shore entry via stairs and abundant marine life. We almost always see turtles here and sometimes eagle rays. Fish are everywhere, and this is always a fun, relaxing dive any time of the day.

This is a favorite dive of ours for late afternoons. Easy sandy entrance and as you are swimming out over the sand so much activity. The snake eels come out to hunt lots of opportunistic fish hunting with them. Always a fun and easy dive.
