not well signposted, it actually has a different name now I think. A disco. I though there was live music or drag

Had the best time at the club. Great music and energy. Was there on January 31st with my spouse and a friend we had just met at dinner. Loved the setting of the club with the bar area and the adjacent disco in the ruins of an old theater. Filled up early with just about every walk of life. Definitely worth going. Drinks were reasonable as well as the cover charge.

I thought there's nothing much to discover in Santa Clara than Che's monument. But when we visited this open-air club filled with people from all walks of life. I knew I was way-off! The pulsative music, the energetic mixed crowd with their sensual body movements and the joyful atmosphere were just infectious! As we danced through the night we made contacts with some locals and partied with them until the wee hours of the morning. Truly, an unforgetable nightlife on our entire Cuban trip!

One of the most popular places to go for dancing the night away. just 1 CUC to get in.....great music...

I visited this amazing Teatro Saturday, September 21st by chance. I knew nothing about it until I had entered the doors with some local friends I was with. After I was in I was swept up by the positive, vibrant, wide-open vibes I was getting. Amazing!!! My friends told me the story behind the funding and restoration of the place (Raul Castro's Daughters influence). I'm a middle aged hetero woman and have always been open minded and accepting of the LGBT community. I have attended gay clubs back home with gay friends, but nothing in Canada compares to this place! Santa Clara is way, way ahead of the rest of the world where openness and acceptance is concerned. Everybody was welcome, and I mean everybody....including straights. I was with a middle aged married couple and their 15 year old granddaughter. We watched a competition - boys dressed as fantastic Divas lip synching. Their hair, nails, shoes….the performances were breath taking!!! I was glued to my seat. The Manager (who I met earlier as I entered) got up for several of the extraordinary performances, stepped up to the stage, cupped the performers face in his hands, kissed their cheek and slipped a $$ bill into their dresses. The theatre was packed with smiling, happy faces. I cried, I laughed, I got goose bumps. There was no threat, no intimidation, no judgement… I can’t stress enough how big the spirit of true openness is here. Please go, see for yourself. Bravo to the Management! Bravo to the performers! Bravo Santa Clara for teaching the world how to embrace diversity!!!

Very special place in an ruin. The music was great and seconds after the music started the floor was full of smiling and dancing people. The age was between 40 and 90.

Amaxing venue. It's basically a decaying building with no roof. You have to be inside of it to understand and appreciate it. Although the bar area is overpoweringly  musky. Who knows how old the place is, so its not that shocking. The transvestite hookers are very aggressive. They want you buy them drinks be assertive with NO. Even though i did they still made noises and grabbed at my arm as I walked by. Just ignore them. They want you buy them drinks, be assertive with your NO's. Either way go there if you like characters.
