Right on the beach, a very extensive menu, and reasonably priced beer. Our food, off the sandwich menu was good, and generous portions!Location is GREAT: right on the beach. Service was very good. Just don't drive here in a Hummer or full size pickup ... Narrow, twisty roads. And they do have WIFI.

Skirt steak appy was amazing. I had grouper... Was good, but didn't expect it to be fried. Wife and daughter had pork loin... So so. Son had chicken and he thought it was really good. Great atmosphere... Right on beach. Service was great too.

I tried to check out this spot a couple of years ago, but they were renovating; visited this year & it was worth the wait! During the day Surfers catching waves at Sandy Beach @t night it's transform into a party with the sea & the stars as witnesses. Good Happy Hours too! Big Thumbs Up!!!

I love Rincón area, specially near Tamboo. I went there last Friday, and asked for mojitos. They have new employees --bartenders. We asked for mojitos... It feels like they are adding soda to it, and they're using so much peppermint that is hard to distinguish the flavor I asked for . Mine was a guava mojito, and my friend's mojito was a strawberry one. The taste is so different of what it used to be.. not for the good!But the vibe of the place was really good and relax. You can always go the 2nd floor, where they have lounge sofas, and nice seats with an area to put drinks.

We had a wonderful time here, we had shown up UN-announced after a long, long, long drive from Puerto Rico, we stumbled upon this place trying to find another hotel. We checked rates, which were pretty decent. The owner was absolutely amazing, he tried helping us in every way possible. He saw the stress I was going through with my car rental so he treated us to a free drink at the bar. The mojito's are amazing, the staff was great, the room was pretty comfortable, with a/c, no wifi in the rooms though. I have to say, I have read some of the other reviews, I think it's funny when people complain about cockroaches, you are in a wooden bar, on the beach, in the heat, where there is food. What do you expect? If you can't handle the critters, stay at home, or pay $1,000.00 per night, I mean of course no one wants that, but they can't help it. Stop rating hotels a 0 or 1 out of 5 because of cockroaches. Rate it for its true quality. Friday night was so much fun!!! We literally danced our faces off, we ended up staying another two nights in Rincon because we loved it so much! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to any of my friends.

Went there after being in doomes beach, for a sunset dinner. This place is on my top list if you ever go to Puerto Rico, just the view makes the experience so unforgettable. Food is fresh, I had a fish... Cant wait to go back for surfing and to have a romantic dinner.

Went here with my friends, we where on a roadtrip and wanted to eat some seafood. I heard a lot of good reviews about this place so this was the place to go while in Rincon. We were not dissapointed at all! The view was amazing and the sunset was breath taking! We ordered the fried calamaries for appetizers and we fell in love, they were so good!! As a main dish I had the shrimp ceviche in a mango sauce with fried plaintains. It was delicious!!! The service was excellent, can' wait to go back and be there for the night life :D

Thats what you go here for the view look to the north and see Aguadilla and watch planes come into the airport .Look to the west and see ocean with dolphins whales etc-- right out in front is the surfer collection waitin for the perfect wave .On the beach is the sun worshiper crowd .Restaurant has better than average food and drinks Staff are always frendly and quick without being a bother .But all and all whenever you go-- its the view Be it the ocean beach or bar always worth a visit

Great place to visit after hours. A mixture of locals and tourist. I have visited a few times and always have a good time!

We had to visit to have their famous monitor and it was excellent. This is a casual place right on the beach with an outdoor deck. The food w good and so was service.

This is a great place on the beach to enjoy lunch or cocktails and watch some surfing. We went midday and had great service, if you are there at the right time, you may see some whales!

Food was very good, and even our picky teens were happy. Enjoyed the citrus marinated ceviche special. Great view of the beach and surf. Bilingual staff, and service was prompt and friendly.

My wife and I had visit the Tamboo Tavern and stay in one of there rooms since 1989. The place is excellent for vacations, the beach is great but careful with the waves. The service for us has being great always. The staff is bilingual and the food always has being good. The view is beautiful, the weather is perfect even if it rain, this is what I like from my Island. I don't live close to the beach that's why we go allot to this places like Tamboo. We are a family of 5. My kids are 22, 19 and 17 and they love the place. We do recommend it.

My husband found this place on yelp was ecstatic to try "the best beach bar in America." We got there, ordered dinner, and waited for an hour... Even for appetizers, which arrived at the same time as our food. The only redeeming quality was the upstairs deck. Even at night, the view was magical, so that's why I'm giving Tamboo 3 stars instead of 2.

The food was good and reasonable for price and the happy hour was excellent. I would recommend if u come to rincon make sure u stop at tamboo it will be worth it the upper deck at night is unbelievably
