This was going to be our great snorkel spot. There were several snorkel tour boats while we were there. We swam out to where the boats were and the water for that day was very merky and the water was choppy. I saw a few fish but not near what I had expected. Cut my toe on a rock going in to put my flippers on. Wear your water shoes.

We went to Malmok Beach to snorkel during the day and enjoy tranquility and sundowns in the evenings. Small and lovely beach.

Loved that this beach is away from the more people filled beaches and snorkeling can be done the moment you get in the water. Fish circle you from every direction!!!

This is our favorite Place to snorkel in Aruba. Not because the beach is nice. Because tourists rarely go to this area. The underwater sights are very nice. I've snorkeled with cuddles, grouper, fish balls, turtle, angels, pariots, cudas, needles and spots. The nothern wall have many small caves that house a great array of fish. As you move out from the wall you may run into fish balls, aand a cuda or two. The current is very calm. No facilities here of any kind...

This beach is located at the far NW end of the island and the waters are nice and the wind seems to be a little calmer here. Nice relaxing beach and not as many people on the day I visited

Went snorkeling there twice. Looked like a terrific beach from the boats view. The houses and hotels in that area were very nice. I'd go back.

Great view of the sunset, but the beach lacked sand. What's a beach without sand - and lots of it? Not much to do along this beach.

this is one of the spots the snorkeling trips may take you to...but you do not have to be on a paid boat excursion to access the great snorkeling. You can enter directly from the beach. Park and enter on the right of the rock wall. Entering is a bit rocky but less so than on the left side of the wall.

Not as great as Boca Catalina since the palapas are right next to the road (Boca Catalina is a bit more private), but right next door, basically. Same reef, same sea life. Great snorkeling spot!

Beautiful beach, not too windy to lay on a towel. There are no washrooms, showers, or food so plan accordingly. The ice cream truck usually comes around a few times per day.

Spent 2 hours snorkeling right off the beach. Took a taxi from Holiday Inn Resort. $12 ride one way for two passengers. About a 15min ride north of Palm Beach. Pelicans watched us as we put on fins and goggles. You walk right from the rock shore into water and begin snorkeling among sea creatures. I spent 2 hours in the water viewing octopus, many varieties of fish and sea urchins. Water was crystal clear and sea floor was alive with fish the entire time. Highly recommend for newbies or experienced snorkelers. Great time and I will be back. Taxis drive past beach often so once finished we flagged down taxi and headed back to hotel.

Pretty rocky area, so the shells get beat up as they come in...but there are tons of them all around the beach.

We drove here yet could of walked from our hotel unlike the boats filled with paying tourist looking for a place to snorkel. Easy access to the beach and plenty of maneuverable water access. Nice place to snorkel.

A nice isolated beach within walking distance of Palm beach if you are used to hiking. A bit rustic and rocky so bring beach shoes. But pretty and quiet place to watch the Pelicans dive for fish or do some fishing yourself

Many of the snorkel trips that tourists book end up bringing people to the area between Malmok Beach and Arashi beach. You can do it yourself (providing you have your own gear) for about $5 each. Take the Arubus out to Arashi Beach - check with the online schedule for times. The main bus station is very close to the cruise ship dock. The snorkelling is amazing off to the right hand side past the end of Arashi Beach if it is a calm morning. Otherwise, walk down the road towards Malmok Beach - a 5 minute walk to where the road goes right to the shore. Grab a piece of beach and swim out to where all the people who have paid the big bucks are. A few years ago I took my daughter - in -law who had never snorkelled before, and she had a good time and was able to see lots of fish. After your swim, relax on the beach / rocks and then walk to the bus stop (Bushalte) at Malmok or back to Arashi to wait for the bus, which will take you back to the high rise hotels, low rise hotels or downtown Oranjestad. We have been visiting Aruba for five years and always make a point of going out to Arashi / Malmok a couple of times each trip.
