When talking to our staff this incident is not exactly as she described.A small child was throwing stones at the pumpkins and when asked to stop, an older child (teenager) then took more stones from the small child's hand and through a handful of stones at multiple pumpkins. There was no yelling they were just asked to leave. They had not even entered the orchard yet.We do not have to admit anyone into the orchard if we feel they do not respect our produce or our business. It was the owners daughter who was at the gate. As to the port a potties, they are cleaned twice per day. It had been the Monday of a long weekend. We try our best to keep things tidy but sometimes at the end of the day it is difficult.Thanks for the opportunity to respond to this review.

I will respond here the same as I responded to you in an email. We are sorry to see you go. We have had to go to the minimum purchase at the farm in order to stay away from charging admission. Through the week we do not charge a minimum and customers can pick whatever they like. If we don't have a minimum we get large groups of people who come to the orchard and eat but never pay for any apples at all. We can no longer afford to feed the public for free.
