Interesting local museum with eclectic exhibits of historic items and information in particular about Joseph Brant a war chief of the six nations and British military caption who lived in Burlington in late 1700s. The staff were friendly and answered questions.

A replica of the house built by native chief Tyendinaga and later used as a hospital on the Burlington waterfront. Worth a visit especially on Joseph Brant day - the first Monday of August every year. The specter appears occasionally in the upper window so keep a sharp lookout.

I visited this museum in the middle of the afternoon, and didn't find many people there. Thus, the curator was more available to answer my questions, (or at least try.) The exhibits were great, and convenient to explain the history of Burlington. The gift shop in the hallway seemed a little risky, but what do I know?Overall, a must
