We decided to go to aberfoyle to see what the antique market was all about. It was a great way to spend a nice Sunday browsing at all the booths. There is certainly something for everyone. When it was time to eat, I thought it was going to be expensive but there is a variety to choose from at very reasonable prices. Both my husband and I came out with a couple of items each. I purchased a transitor radio and kept wondering if it would work as the vendor could not guarantee me, but when I got home put in a battery, I was surprised to have a new/old radio.

If you are looking for a real antiques market, and you are in Ontario, this is the place for you. Unlike many "antiques markets" that only offer cheap far-east toys, clothes and imitations, this is "the real deal". Honest, real antiques and "barn finds", well organized with lots of (free) parking, you can find here things for almost any taste - old clocks, furniture, clothes, china, copper items, toys, sports items, apparel and much more. Prices are good and negotiable, lots of shade and a nice place to seat and eat. There is even a kids playground right in the middle, so the younger generation can play while you venture into one of the many surrounding booths. Most recommended!

This place has so many things it's hard to take it all in. If your looking for something antique, look hard, and you'll probably find it. Wide range of items. Place for kids to play. Very interesting experience. Good size grounds and lots of parking.

This place is an incredible antique market. If your looking for something old or unique this is the place to come. It covers several acres of land and has outdoor displays as well as some indoor displays. Everything is for sale. They are open Sundays till around 4:PM. There are rest areas, a food court and cold and hot drinks, don't forget about the ice cream cones. We have purchased several items there and have always be very happy. The venders will negotiate on pricing as well. All and all it is worth the drive to go and look around. Open May till October. Free parking and has a charge of 2 dollars per adult admission.

This is definitely an interesting place to visit. Lots of parking, a play area for kids and rest area for the adults. Patio area to sit and rest and have a hotdog, hamburger, sandwich etc. Adequate restrooms near the café and hotdog cart.Many rustic buildings filled with antique and vintage wares - lots of furniture, knick knacks, crocks, books, curios, tools, toys, records, lighting, cameras, deco pieces, textiles, church windows, street signs etc. Overall, a good variety for most people. Though we found it very interesting, they just didn't have what we were looking for - vintage electronics like reel to reel recorder/players, 16 mm film & projectors etc..It was a great day to walk around. In all that time we were looking around, only one vendor spoke to us, to ask if he could help us. All in all, we saw lots of people happily carrying out their new finds.

I get into Guelph about twice a year from NS but this was the first time I visited this antique market. I didn't hear about it until late on a Sunday & only got to spend about 3 hours there. I could have spent the whole day there & probably will the next time I am in Guelph. I didn't meet an unfriendly vendor & most people were in a happy mood. The place was packed even late in the day. There is probably something for everyone at this market. Only cost $2 bucks to get in & the parking was free. How can you beat that?

This is a largely outside antique and collectables market. Many, many different vendors with an incredible variety of things to look at. There is everything from coins to furniture. Dress for the weather, wear sunscreen, bring water. There is on-site food and drink available and an ATM. Be prepared to negotiate prices with most vendors. There is a $2.00 per person entry fee. We arrived late morning and stayed until the vendors started packing up at around 3:30. Still much more stuff to see. We will come back again.

From Toronto take the 401 West to Exit 299. Go right off the exit, then drive about 1-2 km. The Aberfoyle Antiques Market is on the left. Here are the key facts....1. The market is open every Sunday from late May to late October. It costs 2$ per person to enter the market.2. Along the outer area of the market, you will find sellers who are not permanent fixtures to the market. Sometimes the deals are better out in this section, but not always.3. There are about 2 good hours worth of old treasures for the casual browser, about 3-4 for the serious buyer. 4. There is a good selection of furniture, glassware, art, old toys, vintage clothes, and much more.5. This is also a good place to find Canadian antiques, such as old skis, hockey memorabilia, and vintage signs and bottles.Well worth a couple of hours on Sunday morning.

My wife and I have visited here many times and we just love the place. If your looking for something old this is the place to be. Antiques galore, inside displays and lots of outside vendors. We have purchased a few things there and have never been disappointed. Vendors are friendly and knowledgeable. They are only open Sundays and I wish they were open Saturdays as well.They have hot and cold food for sale and lots of beverages. There is a nice rest area to eat at or rest your tired feet. There is a lot to see so get there early. Admission is $2.00 each and there's lots of parking. Maybe they will get a beer tent some time soon.
