We went to Mike Weir for the first time during the 2015 Ice Wine Festival. Mike Weir offers a nice selection of good tasting wines. We enjoyed the food and wine paring offered. Stop by and enjoy a tasting.

This used to be the East Dell Vineyard so it has a wonderful set up with big windows overlooking the vineyards. In the warmer weather there is outdoor seating giving it a very Napa Valley feel. The wines are excellent and you can purchase a glass and often they have food trucks to complete the experience. My friend and I will often meet there to enjoy a glass of wine and sit infront of the fire place or outside if the weather permits. It beats going to a noisy bar as the ambiance is relaxing and the staff super friendly and the wine less than bar prices. Solidly recommend.

We were here for a food truck event and had a wonderful time. There is nothing more relaxing than getting away from the city and being surrounded by vast openness and vineyards.

last visit from several wineries and by far the best prices and staff. Outstanding hospitality from gentleman on duty Sunday afternoon. Great 80 calories wine just developed that unlike most low cal wines actually tastes like wine. Great tasting reserve wines and nice little room dedicated to mike weir golf memorabilia. We will be back

Mike Weir's winery was the fourth stop on our seven winery self directed tour. Gorgeous spot! The tasting area is very large and very modern. Sometimes that leads to the "file them through" feeling but the gentleman that was helping us was very friendly and informative. He guided us through choosing the wines we wanted to sample and gave us background and entertaining stories. We are typically red wine drinkers but will still try one or two white offerings that promise to be more full bodies. In doing so we tasted the barrel fermented Chardonnay. Very good! On the red side of things we found a little gem called Underdog which comes in just under $14. We'll be back to pickup more!Upstairs they have room set up with Mike Weir (he is a Canadian golf in case you didn't know) paraphernalia such as trophies, pictures, etc. Very interesting if you follow golf and Mike. As the story goes, the "Underdog" wine name came from the fact that Mike was an underdog himself... a 5' 9'' left handed Canadian golfer... but he won The Masters in 2003. But I digress...A very nice winery, friendly staff, and good wines. Recommended.

Very good wines and a stunning tasting room. Actually some of the beat priced wines we've seen but our server gave us the impression we were wasting her time. Still worth the visit.

have just returned from brunch at the recently opened Mike Weir Estate Winery, and can't wait to go back again. Fabulous view from the deck, along with a great brunch menu supplied by The Yellow Pear food truck, made perfect by some wonderful wines this afternoon. They have one of the loveliest views around at any of the local wineries. The staff are very friendly and Grayson really knows his product and helped us to select some great wines - some to enjoy right now and a lovely cab franc to cellar over the next few years. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending this winery and can't wait to have an event that requires a venue as perfect as this!In a market that is very competitive, I have no doubt that they will dominate if they continue to provide this level of excellence. They have an interesting selection of items to purchase besides a great variety of wine, all in a bright and inviting environment.

On the recommendation of friends a group of us visited here today. Well it was excellent. Firstly the staff who were very welcoming and knowledgeable. A great view across Lake Ontario and some excellent wines too.

A very classy, clean renovation of the old East Dell Winery, with the same great view, very nice gift area and an added shrine to Mike's golfing career, but no green jacket. Staff is plentiful and very attentive, and they have a unique "wine on tap" system which dispenses two of the wines like a beer tap. As you would expect, this winery is more commercial than most Bench wineries and charges for samples. While this is a great wine country destination to visit, the wine is no where near as good as it was when it was made by the team at Creekside.

Your first impression of Mike's Winery is that it is a clean and classy facility. Then you will see the view from his spot on the "Bench". Now settle in and taste a few of his wines. MM Good!! The White Merlot is a crisp and tasty wine that will go with almost anything. Also if you like Chardonnay (even is it's not your favourite), you will certainly love their Unoaked Chardonnay. But I am going to say try a few on your own and see what you enjoy. There's something there for everybody. As you checkout you may notice that proceeds from sales at the winery go to Mikes Childrens Charity. So you can have an enjoyable experience, buy some superb wines, and help out Mikes charity all in one small stopover at the Weir Winery. Hey I have to add that the staff are all simply marvellous, friendly and very helpful. We have found a new love in winery's in the Niagara District. TRY IT!!

We had heard and read a lot of good reviews about the new Mike Weir Winery. We finally were able to visit and we were very happy we did. The winery is a beautiful building with lots of glass over looking the vineyard and on a clear day you can see Toronto across the lake. The wines are now being grown and made exclusively here. The Cabernet Franc, White Merlot and Crash Rose, our favorite picks. The staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. A nice bonus for golf fans is the Mike Weir Gallery upstairs with a lot of memorabilia of Mikes many wins.

This winery were participating in the Niagara Food and Wine passport festival in June, but on the weekend of 21 June they had a private function in the main building, which meant that the food and wine pairing visitors had been shoved out to a tiny space by their shipping warehouse - basically it was a couple of tables and chairs in the car park, with the white wine served from a cool box. The girl serving the apparent showcase wine was friendly and polite but knew nothing about the wine or other wines produced at the winery - the chardonnary on offer was pretty average. They hadn't bothered to offer other wines and so they missed out on a ton of wine sales. There were six of us in our group and we purchased wine at every other of the seven wineries we visited that weekend. The whole visit was really disappointing and all of us in our group felt that Mike Weir should have cancelled their participation in the Niagara region wine and food passport promotion - needless to say we are not endeared to this winery and won't be buying his wine any time soon.

I believe this winery has the best views in the entire Niagara Wine Region. The vineyards, the lake and the Toronto skyline what's not to like.We found the staff very friendly and knowledgeable. All of the wines that we tasted were very enjoyable. We especially liked the 2013 Sauvignon Blanc and with a price point of 14.95 a real bargain.
