marmora mine

Beautiful natural attraction! Located at the end of the road. You have to park along some tractor tires protecting the area then walk the rest in. Once in you come upon an information stand of the mine. Past that you are directed to a cage-like view point overlooking the mining area. The bluest water ever seen! You can climb up a pile if rocks to get a higher vantage point for amazing photos! Unfortunately the area is fenced off.

its an amazing site it takes you back to the days when there was mining all through out the area a beautiful location you walk around and read all the information about how the mine was run the amount of people that worked there and all about the product. off in the country just off highway seven take a few minutes off the highway will really enjoy the site

Anyone coming through Marmora should take the time to visit the Marmora Mine. Do not forget to bring your camera.
