I love the MCC because there's always something great going on. I've seen some incredible shows from music to plays, art galleries and great food in the Roxy. I love the affordability of the shows and the open mic on Saturdays is a way to hear , participate and meet new friends and enjoy the Roxy Cafe for great lunches. How lucky are we to have this wonderful Centre, Nonie Thompson

The MCC in Midland is an excellent facility. It hosts both Quest Art School & Gallery as well as the Huronia Players. If your looking for lunch you can pop-into the bistro or if your hosing a larger event and are sourcing a banquet hall the food is always delicious. As an active member of The Rotary Club of Midland I am in Rotary Hall almost every Wednesday for our lunch meeting. I would recommend to anyone, resident of the community or visitor, that the MCC is a great place to visit and discover what a fantastic facility it is with all that it has to offer.Proud Midland Rotarian & Frequent Patron of the MCC,Aaron Ledlie.

When events come together like a charm. This can certainly be said for my recent attendance at the Midland Cultural CentersA Day In The Life "James Labrie " Lead Vocalist Dream Theatre. With a great selection of wine I headed into the theatre with my glass of red to enjoy the interview. James is super comfortable and funny during the interview with Fred Hacker seated in an acoustic perfected theatre with a huge drop down screen for the audiences delight. Credit must be noted and given to the flawless presentation of video clips throughout the interview. Any questions or request I had with regard to the event or seating was quickly and efficiently taken care of.

We have been to several different kinds of events over the past year from Classical concerts, blues events and a weekly open mic' featuring many talented local musicians to name just a few. All have been of a high calibre and great enjoyment was had by all. We would highly recommend the Midland Cultural Centre to anyone who happens to visit up this way. While you are here do not miss the art gallery with a constantly changing display of fine works by so many different local artists and take a break at the Roxy Cafe for some delicious treats.

Thought we were going to see Nashville Christmas concert, and it was only 2 Christmas songs. Show was expensive for what it was. We didn't even get the seats we paid for. We were on time, yet people were sitting in them, so we were forced to sit in left over seats that were not what we paid for.

We live in the area on a part time basis. Nice place to attend on a weekend, easy parking and friendly people.

We went to see Jack deKeyser - a blues guitar player in January 2015. The venue is great, acoustics excellent, the upstairs balcony has great seats and the view is perfect. Very nicely laid out.

My wife and I went to a Christmas performance by John McDermott on December 21st. Very much enjoyed his show but the seats were very uncomfortable. Not theatre type seats on a sloping floor. Seats were straight high backed chairs similar to dining suite chairs. Flat floor made it difficult to see John around the tall person sitting in front of us. Considering I paid about $100 for the seats, I expected better. If the venue is used for other purposes, which I believe it is, I would recommend the management go to the Stockey Center in Parry Sound and see how that facility has managed to put in portable theatre seating in a multi-functional venue.

Living in the area I am fortunate enough to receive the weekly calendar of event postings and we have been able to attend some incredible shows at his venue. The staff are all friendly volunteers (I believe) and they run a tight ship, everything runs very smoothly and on schedule. Thanks for the experiences!

Wonderful venue. Nice lobby, bar area. The only draw back is there is no concert seating. The seating is chairs, and the floor is level. It's was okay, very comfie but I would of liked to have know that when I was selecting the seats.Would definitely go back as the sounds was great.

The Midland Cultural Centre is a treasure in every sense. It is not only a place of great value but something to cherish and to always keep in mind. The location is easy to find, beautiful and accessible. The events range from classic to cathartic and are always entertaining and professional. Make the trip if you're from out of town. You won't be disappointed: we are the best of Southern Georgian Bay. And if you're in town....
