A must see for all christians. A peaceful heartwarming location to pray and to renew oneself. There is plenty of parking. A splendid number of monuments can be viewed including a replica of the grotto of Lourdes. There is also a Way of the Cross were one can stop an pray a the fourteen different stations. The grotto can be easily accessed and is user friendly. It sits atop a large plateau offering different vistas of the city. I would recommend it to all who wish to spend a quiet moment.
such beautiful work went into the making of the statues and all that is there for the public..decorated with flowers ,shrubbery in the summer..
What a special find! Right in the heart of the city. We were here on a cold and blustery day and yet, it was still beautiful... I can only imagine what it is like when the weather is better. The site is a very spiritual spot. You can see all around the City of Sudbury. The large statues are powerful - I wish I knew more about them. The pathways are clearly marked, the grotto is powerful... a really amazing spot to give thanks to Creator for all that we have been provided - blessings, freedom, peace, serenity, love and gratitude ... all are in evidence here.
Walk in the middle of the city for a non-denominational or meditative walk. Spend 15 min or hours. Lots of parking.
Great views of the city. It looks like a Greek temple up there. Completely free to visit. Nice place to walk around.
sit in vehicle to have lunch or in evening to look over the city..nice sight the grotto, many wonderful pieces to view..
Definite must-see! So much history and is a beautiful and peaceful place to reflect. I recommend to all :)
The hilltop location of the newly improved and expanded Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes is definitly a "must visit". While the view of Sudbury's magnificent Lake Ramsey is ideal from the quiet sitting areas on the site, the twenty monuments are the heart and soul of this lovingly restored and developed attraction. Activity options include walking the fourteen Stations of the Cross or completing the journey around the Labyrinth.
