station mall

I have been a regular here for quite a few years, and this mall keeps changing. Many reviewers mentioned construction-- which now seems to have been completed, but will be back again soon, I am sure. The good news is that they made the food court more roomy, and the entrance also looks better.In this age of onIine shopping, this mall is still full of life and remains a good place to hang. I like the book store there, where you can alway pick up a good best seller at a reasonable price, and ready to read without mailing costs of amazon. The book store also has creative gifts. The foodcourt is an interesting mix of many cuisines, including a Chinese one with the best chow mein and good veggies, but old fashioned burger and fries lovers can also find their treats.I used to love Tim Horton's, but now I am worried that it will become more like any other fast food place in the U.S. I loved their soup and sandwich, with good crusty bread, lettuce and tomato, which I hope won't be replaced with something else. Their donuts are already getting bigger, and they also added huge cupcakes to their selection.There used to be good shoe shops there, too, but I did not see the one I liked now. The little coffee shop with cappuccinos and espressos is also on and off, and this time I did not find it. While over the years more and more big stores moved in, like Macy's, and more recently Walmart, the mall still has some smaller brand stores with unique selections, like Roots or Northern Reflections. Think Kitchen has great kitchen ware, next to a quilt and bedding store. There is a wine store;chocolate and jewellery are available for gift shoppers. And the movie theater is also there, with popcorn and drinks, and a selection of new movies. You can easily spend more than half a day at Station Mall, surrounded by a cheerful crowd, food, benches to sit, and restrooms for your convenience. It definitely is a good place to stop, especially on a long trip, or in winter when the weather is unpleasant.

It was ok. The shops were not particularly interesting, but would get the job done if you are not too picky. There is a wine, spirits, and beer shop that had quite a bit of selection.

The mall was being renovated (floors and walls) while I was there, but there was still a good amount of stores tht I liked and shopped in.

We made a visit to station mall on our adventure into Canada on a rainy day camping. It was under construction being remodeled. New flooring from what I could tell. We have visited a lot of shopping centers and malls. As for malls go, this is on my short list never to bother with again. It does have a handful of small stores and two larger stores one being Walmart the other being Sears. However nothing of interest. Most of the stores were poorly taken care of/kept up. The few we went into defiantly needed a good organizing and cleaning. Overall if it was cleaner and taken care of this would be a nice little mall.

Great mall with plenty of stores and well kept up!! Would definitely visit again. Maybe a couple of benches here and there to sit down.

This was a pretty good mall it had great stores and a nice food court.I really enjoyed New York Fries in the food court.Would come back again.
