Walkerville Brewery isn't like other craft breweries we've visited, in some ways good, and in some ways bad.The good, the staff were extremely kind and welcoming. Some craft breweries can get snobbish, or have staff that believe they're overly hip or cool, making the service cold and unpersonable. The staff here were attentive and helpful. The bad, they played horrible rap, hip hop, and overall music I think most craft beer aficionados would find tacky and annoying...in particular at the volume level they cranked it to...often changing songs midway through as if they didn't even know what to play. The beer, which is why most come to a brewery, was so so. I couldn't believe they didn't officially do tasting flights. I've never been to a brewery or craft beer pub that doesn't do flights. They will, if you ask, give you tastings before you make a decision on a pint, but myself, I would prefer to order a flight, and avoid a pint when tasting.I thought the Milk Stout was by far their best beer. Surprisingly light and refreshing for a stout, but with good flavours, in particular chocolate. The IPA I found to be less "hoppy" than most. For a lighter beer, I'd recommend the Loophole Ale. My least favourite was the Honest Lager, which honestly, I hope never to have to drink again. If you find one you love, they have growlers and minis for sale.We didn't take the tour, but they are available. If they could change the music to avoid the atmosphere becoming reminiscent of a trashy pool hall, and continue producing excellent beers like the seasonal Milk Stout, I'd definitely return.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon and the bartender came up to us immediatly and offered us samples of all of the craft beers on tap, he went on to explain about why the beer tasted so different from what we were used to. This is a great place to stop and have a beer but there is no food available.

They have great craft beer here which you can have in the middle of their brewery. I would highly recommend.

In Detroit for Father's Day and wanted to check out Windsor, ON. Picked out a few possible restaurants but wanted to go to the Walkerville Brewery Tour first. Very nice, new, clean business. The tour guide was young friendly and funny, Learned the history behind Walkerville and Windsor. Tasted several of their beers and went on a short tour, Very informative, Also bought a nice growler. Fun afternoon in a friendly place, the beer was above average,

Our first time in Windsor on business & we had a little time to kill. The place was very cool. Big screen TV for you sports enthusiasts. GGGOOOAAALLLLL! The staff was so friendly and they gave us some samples to try. The beer was awesome. My fav. is the "honest" lager.

What a great place to sit down and have some beers with friends. I recommend taking the tour. It gives some great information about the brewery and about the Walkerville area. Great service and great quality beer!!

Went for the 1st time yesterday..love it! Huge screen (along with many other screens) had the hockey game on..casual venue, chill'n atmosphere, cool staff .. went while on a Drinks of Walkerville Tour. This place has converted this non-beer drinking gal into a Walkerville Brew loving chick! Dig'n the Honest Lager so far, lookn forward to trying out some more!! Windsor needs to be proud and brag about this place!

We recently held an informal wedding party at the Walkerville Brewery. The staff was fantastic at accommodating our needs and last minute requests to ensure it was an evening we all enjoyed. The brewery offered great value in their products and the atmosphere and ambience resulted in an evening we will all remember.

I recently took some friends from Thunder Bay on the Walkerville Brewery tour. Although the tour was mainly talking it was interesting. The brewery is in an old Hiram Walker warehouse. The tour begins with a sampling of the 4 products available with an explanation of each one. Then the tour itself and to finish up a glass of beer of your choice. The tour is inexpensive and well worth the hour it takes. While in the area it is worthwhile to drive around old Walkerville to see some of the stately homes

I was excited to see that Walkerville Brewery finally re-opened. However, it was disappointing to see that the Bootlegger special is gone. And there is no equivalent special for people who make the trip to the brewery. I can't believe it costs $20 for a Growler, which is only 64 oz. of beer. For $17 you can get 30 cans of beer in the USA. And for a bit more you can get premium beers in the USA. Unfortunately my business will go south of the border, or in Windsor's case, north of the border.

The brewery is located in a quiet street, in a ancient warehouse reconverted into a brewery facility and a bar.A nice welcome upon arrival, we were offered to taste the 3 different beers they make: Session 1 (Kolsh style ale), a pale ale and an I.P.A.The Walkerville beers are not available at the LCBO stores and they are sold only in 64 oz growlers or kegs. A brewery not to miss when you visit Windsor.

I just love Old Walkerville and when in the area a visit to Walkerville Brewery is a must do for me. They have been slowing growing over the past year and now have at least 3 of their craft beers on tap.The tour is informative and shows the beer making process. Well worth the $5!

They were not giving tours of the brewery on thursday but we went for some beer tasting. I am not a big beer drinker but I really liked the beers. They did'nt have dark beers so my husband was sad, but he enjoyed the beer.

A bit spartan and cold but the beers were very good. We went for a private party, so all I could hold the brewery to was their beer, and that was way good!
