This beach has a great boardwalk to get to the beach.The water is so warm for swimming and theres also a sand bar at low tide.This beach is not used as much as some of the others in the area so it never seems to get over croweded.This is a wonderful spot to relax for an afternoon!

If it wasn't our last day visiting Pictou county and it was just a little less windy. I would have played on this gorgeous beach all day long! The beautiful reddish brown sand was soft and sandcastle build-able. The ocean's tide was out while I was there which gave the massive amount of beach a wonderful ripple pattern, perfect for collecting shells (which I always have to do while on the beautiful beaches of Nova Scotia). Stunning ocean scene to watch the PEI ferry go by! Can't wait to go back and spend the day!

..just walk the endless beach and watch the ferries cross to Prince Edward Island. Lots of ocean life to explore as you dip your feet in the salt water along the sandy shores. My favorite beach and spot to relax...
