what a jem Princeton has in this museum!! It covers a wide range of history while changing up the main feature displays, keeping one coming back for more! . The black light room is fun for all ages... and most of the displays are kid friendly. This museum underwent a major reno from dark old school to very contempory metro thinking format with out loosing its country charm. I like the idea that they also offer various "camps" for kids, sleep overs for youth groups and birthday parties and Adults can rent for a venue for their function, ( no moment of boring here). If youre passing through and need a place to stop and rejuvinate... I recomment the Princeton Museum!

It is a small but full of surprises. I am glad that we stopped there. There are displays related to the native culture, minining industry, old guns, Cameras, hunting, and telecommunication. Also, there is rock display, including the fluorescent rock collection that glow under UV lights. The admission is by donation. If you are in the area, I definitely recomeng stopping for half an hour or more.

This museum is wonderful and very informative. We really enjoyed ourselves. This was a holiday weekend, so there was also ice cream and cake for everyone. We were come back again when we have more time to browse.

Really a great little museum - they seem to be adding new exhibits every week or so. The rock collections are amazing and well worth looking at. Offers a great tribute to the area and it's rich history

This is a must visit for everyone whether you are a tourist or live here. The displays are always changing and new older things added along with more info on the valley. It has greatly improved over the past two years and getting better all the time. You will be amazed at what you did not know about Princeton and the Similkameen Valley.

Too bad this little museum isn't open more! We did plan ahead so staff could help us look in some old newspapers about a great uncle who had a shop in Princeton in 1918. Robin found the info and photo copied it for us. (Thanks, Robin) We wandered the museum and they had a bit of everything displayed. Most interesting was the log cabin and furnishings. As donations are accepted, please leave a few loonies so that they can continue their work. I'd guess not over an hour is enough time to see all.....then head to Thomasina's for coffee and toast...................

Nice small museum with a variety of historical items. We liked the geology exhibit the best: fossils, iridescent stones and geodes. They even had a secret room with a black light. Cool!

This is a cute museum in a quaint town. Great place to learn about the history of Princeton and the gems, minerals found in the area. Loved the beautiful florecent rock display in their black room. Amazed at all the old displays. The admission is by donation and the front desk staff was very helpful and informative. She guided us to the nearest KVR trail tunnel and the Red Ochre Bluffs along the Smilkameen river.

Do visit this Museum if you are in town. This place is educational well preserved. The fossils and early age telephone and Native history is something we should all be proud off and relish

they have more room now that the library has moved and they are still adding things to the museum. They have an amazing rock display and some pictures of old families, buildings etc

The new renovations are shocking when you enter...be prepared to be blown away by extraordinary displays of Princeton's colourful past. It even boasts an original log cabin in amongst the displays.

Small town doesn't mean small vision and that is obvious when you enter this building. It is by far the best small town museum I have ever visited. From the rebuilt historic cabin to the dug-out canoe, there is much to see and learn. The people of Princeton did their historic town justice in a very modern, clean and creative way. Good job Princeton. I will definitely stop in again.

Well done and a great history of the area, with featuring a different homestead family each month. We really enjoyed this tour
