Sun Peaks Adventure Centre offer a range of additional activities beyond what trip advisor presently notes, and the Snowmobiling Tours should be top of your list. We had a ball, still smiling actually.Options of 2 or 4 hours, or an evening weiner roast tour; we chose the 4hr trip as we had seen scattered reviews elsewhere lament that 2hrs were not enough; and they were right.Andy picked us up from the village daylodge and took us to their snowmobile camp, where we were offered bike helmets and extras to ensure our safety & comfort. A quick review of the proper use of the vehicles, and away we went down some of the most picturesque trails. Our guide was very courteous & attentive, ensuring we were comfortable with the speed and terrain, not once feeling unsafe.As we booked the 4hr, we were taken on some extra trails, across scenic ridges, snuggly treelined powder filled tracks; and allowed time to "have a fang" on McGillivary Lake & another powder play area. Our guide offered and took a few photos and video with our camera for us to share with others. And the helmet I was given even had a standard gopro attachment mounted.Not an extreme sport experience, but an absolute delight through some very beautiful country, with a genuinely nice guide and host. Highly recommend.
