Located around the corner from St Anne de Beaupre Cathedral and dedicated to all creations Edison, this tiny museum is very well done. The curator is friendly and informative and happy to share his knowledge. There is a 5.00 per person fee.

This private museum, maintained by a member of the Canadian Antique Phonograph Society, is home to an extraordinary collection of early recording devices. Mr. Agnard, who has a background in science, is an expert in his field and gives detailed explanations and demonstrations of his artifacts. These range from early machines for dictation to phonographs and gramophones, along with the first talking dolls and an astounding quantity of early cylinders and discs. Mr. Agnard offers tours in French and English. Because this is a teaching museum, expect to take his tour rather than just wandering through it on your own. Allow at least an hour for this activity. I would probably leave my children behind when visiting this particular museum.
