We spent the afternoon at Aventure Inuckshuck before spending the night at Hotel de Glacé. So pleased we did! This was a truly remarkable experience. We rented snow equipment from the lodge before boarding a bus to get to the dogs. So glad we did! It gets cold, particularly if you are sitting in the basket for much of the journey. Our guide was fantastic. He has such a passion for these dogs and we felt safe in his hands. The journey lasted just over two hours and the scenery was spectacular! Half way through we stopped and switched places, whoever was in the basket now got to drive. You quickly get the hang of it! Every now and then you have to help the dogs up a hill or two. Once we got back we helped put the dogs back in their pens. We were then treated to a hot chocolate and got to see the puppies before heading back to the main building. It's an unforgettable experience!

Loved it! We had all sorts of worries going into dogsledding, mostly about driving the sled. We shouldn't have been worried at all though, because it was quite easy. No steering, just break and occasionally give the sled a little push. The dogs are very well trained and excited to run. You go out in a small group of a few sleds with a (bilingual) guide/instructor. The ballad (about 1 hour total on the sled) was perfect. We were frozen solid, but totally energized by the time we were finished (of note- it was cold enough that everyone's cell phones and a GoPro camera began shutting down). Holding puppies (very stinky little puppies) and drinking hot chocolate in a little tent completed the adventure.There are bathrooms, but only at the beginning before you head out.I can't recommend it enough!

Such a great day out! Very close to Quebec City. We really enjoyed our time with adventure inukshuk. We opted for the Ballard (1hr sled tour). We had a great time with the dogs. trails were great and it was fun being able to control your own sled. The staff were very helpful. We can't fault anything. Thanks adventure inukshuk!

The dogs were sweet, and the guides very friendly and informative in both French and English. Each couple drove their own dogsled, and one couple per six-person group can include the guide on their sled. We were glad to be the ones who had the guide with us as he was full of interesting stories about the dogs and provided lots of additional advice and instruction on the sledding technique. It was very entertaining to watch the dogs run as they were clearly having the time of their lives. It was a perfect way to spend a day enjoying Quebec winter. Highly recommended for all dog lovers and winter sport lovers!

Had a great time! We arrived and took the bus to the dogs where the guides were waiting for us. We went on the paths for about an hour. You need to help the dogs so be prepared to run uphill a bit. Once done we got to hold the puppies and had a good hot chocolate in the yurt. Our guide was clear and helpful and I would love to try this activity again but maybe earlier in the day. We did the 15h excursion so last ones am the dogs seemed a little tired.

This was a great winter excursion and experience for our family visit to Quebec City. Just 30 minutes drive, it was one of those experiences that you'll always remember, and is just a bit different. The facility was very well run, the guides were charming, and the hour-long ride through the forest was enchanting. You can pick the length of tour you want to take (from 30 minutes to multi-day!).

This adventure was simply amazing. Handling the dogs was a bonus; they are so friendly. Learning how to drive a sled with the dogs is so exciting, exhilarating and a fabulous experience. We would recommend this to everyone who loves dogs and the feel of the wind in their faces. We even had the chance to hold a puppy, now that is something else!

Un très bon moment de plaisir sur du matériel de très bonne qualité et d'aspect neuf. Les conseils de Carol sont avisés et le rythme adapté. Amélie a l'accueil est parfaitement aimable et gère même les cas les plus extrêmes d'étourderie. La sortie de 2h par -15° se passe sans effort et sans la moindre sensation de froid tant l'équipement est adapté. Merci beaucoup pour ce baptême. Nous attendons la prochaine occasion de remonter sur un ski-doo.

Forfait la balade d'une heure. Randonnée inoubliable c'était notre première fois. À refaire le personnel très accueillant

Nous avons passé quelques heures en compagnie d'un guide et du patron de notre hôtel à attendre les ours , avec de nombreuses explications sur la région,la faune , la flore et les ours, en particulier les ours noirs et nous avons bien discuté sur la vie au Québec. Il nous a été proposé de revenir le lendemain, les ours restant invisible et c'est juste avant le départ qu'une famille de trois oursons et leur mère est apparue pour notre plus grande satisfaction. Merveilleux

Nous avons fait la "courte randonnée" le 6 mars 2013: un circuit de 2 heures dont une grande partie dans les bois. C'était la première fois que nous pratiquions cette activité et nous avons tout de suite été à l'aise grâce aux explications et à la surveillance de notre guide Hugo Tranche Montagne. Nous n'étions que 2 traineaux de touristes (donc 3 traineaux avec le traineau d'Hugo) ce qui a vraiment rendu sécuritaire l'activité. Le prix est largement justifié par la qualité de l'encadrement et la qualité du circuit: on ne repasse pas 2 fois au même endroit, c'est un vrai circuit ! On a de vraies sensations car les chiens vont assez vite et il y a quelques courbes intéressantes à prendre: on apprend vraiment la technique au lieu de simplement se faire balader.Détail important: il y a un restaurant à 500m du point de rencontre: il se situe dans l'hotel "Auberge Duchesnay" dans la Station touristique Duchesnay ce qui est bien pratique quand on a rendez vous à 12 h 30.Le lieu de rendez vous est dans la Station touristique Duchesnay, juste à l'entrée, 1ère rue à gauche et on nous emmène en bus de l'autre côté de la route là où se trouve le chenil.

Nous revenons juste de notre forfait "la balade". Nous avons très bien été accueillis par Jacynthe et l'accueil était très chaleureux. Nous avons pris un bus pour aller sur le lieu de la balade et présentés à notre guide Hugo. Nous étions un groupe qui a été répartis en petits groupes de 6 personnes.C'est exceptionnel, le site est très bien, Hugo vraiment été très bon et très pro, il nous a super bien conseillé pour cette activité qu'on faisait pour la première fois.A refaire!!!!
