Great tour by very friendly guide. Caves are amazing and cold consistent temp 9 degrees which would be lovely in the height of summer. There is also a lovely fern garden type walk from the ticket office to caves which is an alternative to taking the car down to second car park

We stopped in Mole Creek to see King Solomans Cave and was lucky enough to have Brian take 3 of us. Lovely formations, well laid out and easy to get about. Brian very knowledgeable and funny. Took about 45 mins and you would have time to do the two and still get to your next destination.Tasmania has lots of great caves and this was a must visit.

I visited here in September and it was interesting to find out the facts about the glow worms and explore the cave. Tour guide was very passionate about his job and made the tour fun and interesting. I reccomend this tour if in the area.

This was a passover as we were driving to Launceston from Cradle mountain so we had limited time. We ended up doing the Marokoopa Underground tour as it consist of the limestone formation and a mix of the glow worms. Although to see the King Soloman caves would of been great the underground tour consist of water streams, rock transformation and educational.Do be warned to wear warm clothing. Worth the visit and drop by.

These caves are stunning! While Marakoopa Cave is big and very touristy, most people seem to save the money (you have to pay for either or both caves at the ticket center) and skip King Solomon's Caves. To us the latter was even more spectacular as it is small and has very shiny stalaktites and stalagmites.

Easy walk, well lit, great explanation on the history of the founders. They even sang at the end of walk. We got to see glowworms too! Please bring a jumper as it was super cold, although it was summer

loved it....thoroughly enjoyed it. Had to bend in a few places but it was amazing...and the guide was very informative too. It would be nice to walk on our own and take our time but it's the only negative...well worth the money and experience.

My partner and I went on the underground rivers and glow worms tour in the Marakoopa cave, and it was fantastic! The tour guide was really informative and we learnt a lot. The structures in the cave were stunning, especially the little pools of water! I would definitely go there again but next time I might try a different tour.

Maracootta has the glow worms and cathedral and good formation...but for sheer spectacle..King Solomon's Caves are the very best.Easy to get in and out and also good walkways...but the formation and colours in King Solmon's Caves are the most spectacular! Absolute MUST see if you are in the area.

We had a lovely week camping however one day it rained all day. We made our way up to the caves and we all had a great time. Lunch in the under cover shelters then into the cave for a great tour.

Absolutely loved the cave! Amazing glowworm and stalagmites and stalactites! Wonderful experience! Very knowledgeable guide - explained a lot about the history of the cave and the history of all the formations.

This was well worth the visit. I have seen a lot of limestone caves and I really enjoyed the one we saw. The area is lovely and well looked after and the guides are extremely friendly too! YMMV

I grew up in Tasmania and I remember visiting the caves when I was younger. They are still amazing! The tour was just the right length and the guide was professional and informative. The whole surrounding area is just beautiful and definitely worth a drive through/stay if you're travelling around Tassie. Highlight of our trip!

The caves are fantastic, well worth a visit and the rangers in the ticket office were friendly, humorous and very helpful. Our actual tour guide in the cave seemed a little tired and after telling the group to go forward in the dark then left the group ahead of her for ages. This meant we were often in the position of trying to stop kids (other peoples) running head-long down steps in the pitch dark. Our guide seemed a little tired and just seemed to want to get the tour done and finish for the day. We wished the rangers in the ticket office had been taking the tours. One of the rangers from the office came all the way up to the caves to tell us we had left a hat in the local café so we could go and collect it which we thought was above and beyond the call of duty and very friendly.

1 hr tour is just enough to see this great cave, I wish I can have a bit more time to take more photos. there were raining a few day before we visit, so we are lucky enough to see more drops in the cave. the glow worm part is amazing, my 2 yrs boy enjoyed that very much as he thought it's a "starry night".it's very easy walk in the cave, suit all age of people.
