After experiencing a flight in the Winjeel earlier this year I just had to go back for more. This time it was an aerobatic flight for my birthday and it was an unforgettable experience.Pilot Mark Awad was thoroughly professional as he put his Winjeel through rolls and turns at 4000 feet over Lennox Head. I felt safe and secure at every turn as.Mark talked me through each maneuver. There is nothing like seeing the earth upside down from the cockpit of a warbird. What a ride and so much fun! It was a perfect Father's Day present. Great sights over Byron bay, the aircraft was well maintained and performed well. Despite some crosswinds the pilot Marc was very experienced and take off and landing were smooth as silk. Highly recommended.

On a recent visit to Byron Bay I arranged a flight in a Winjeel, out of Ballina Airport. What a fantastic experience! Mark Awad, who operates the business and is the pilot, was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish - pleasant, knowledgeable, courteous; thoroughly professional. And the flight was a true flight experience, you soar! Mark gave a commentary on the aircraft, its characteristics so there were no surprises, the route we would take and landmarks and points of interest along the way. It was fantastic to see the coastline and hinterland in a whole new light - beautiful. Orchards, small towns, places I've been, Byron, the Lighthouse and the swell on the rocks. And whales. And dolphins. Mark banked and turned to give a better view.And then the runway, and it was over. As always Mark explained this in detail and executed to perfection. I really enjoyed this flight so much! Mark (pilot) took the time to explain what was happening as well as what was going to happen, he was informative, professional and fun. Seeing the Byron Coast from a different angle was amazing and the scenery as well as the sensation of freedom was perfect. I was surprised that I had slight nerves when we got up, but they faded away with the trust that I felt in our pilot, it was superb and the entire experience was simply fantastic. Thank you Mark!

I did not want it to end. What a flight and what a pilot. Mark has just as much fun as his passengers and it shows. The flight is personalised and the setting is beautiful. I am going back for more!

Went up for son's birthday. We had a ball and he could not wipe the smile of his face all day. Fantastic views of the rivers and lake, countryside, Byron lighthouse and saw a heap of whales. Loved it.

When you visit Byron you must take a trip with Classic Aero Adventure Flights. We were very fortunate to have the pleasure of flying with Mark in a genuine ex-RAAF Warbird. This gave us a truly remarkable view of Byron Bay. Mark was extremely passionate about flying and gave us a lot of information about the plane and Byron Bay, he kept us informed of what he was doing throughout the flight and made us completely at ease.
